M&L Brick Work with Sub-Class ‘B’ fly-ash Bricks (with Old Size Bricks), Straight or Curved on Plan exc. 6.0 Metre mean Radius, built in Cement Mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Brick Work with Sub-Class ‘B’ fly-ash Bricks Half-Brick thick, Old Size, built in Cement Mortar 1:4, Straight or Curved on Plan to any Radius, complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipes and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), finished smooth and reforming benching for 150 mm bore pipe as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of Manhole chamber of any size, of depth exc 2.0 metrs but not exc 5.00 metre each, by pumping out deposited water, manually taking out accumulated sludge, silt, mud etc disposing off the sludge/debris out of MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No. 45 above, but for manual cleaning of manhole of depth exc 1.0 m but not exc 2.0 m

Cleaning of collection chambers of drainage water internal dia 2.0 M and depth exceeding 3.00 metre but not exceeding 7.00 metre each, mechanically, removing muck/sludge/silt/mud, liquid etc under any position including foul condition and claening the inlet and outlet with water, placing back the cover in position and disposing off the sludge/debris out of MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE FOR ITEM NO. 43 to 47 :- (1) The sludge/debris shall be disposed off in sealed containers or sludge removal tankers. Contractor is expected to consider this aspect whicle quoting his rates. No claim, whatsoever, shall be entertained on this account afterwards. (2) Item No 45 and 46 shall be executed only on urgent requirement. (3) Mechanised cleaning vehicle, water jetting machine including fuel and operater, as and when ordered by the Engineer-in-Charge shall be provided by the contractor under his own arrangement. No extra claim shall be admissible during currency of work.

Cleaning of sewage line/ storm water line of 450 mm bore by mechanically using trolley mounted water jetting machine including dewatering, de-silting and well flushing the line with water and tesing on comletion complete as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

All as per Item No. 41 above but for cleaning of 300 mm bore sewage line/storm water line

Cleaning of sewage line/ storm water line of any dia, manually (by pushing a piece of bamboo split, tied with gunny bags at one end from one manhole to another manhole) and well flushing the line with water and tesing on completion complete as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. (NOTE: This item shall be executed only on urgent requirement)

Cleaning of existing covered / uncovered (partly / semi or fully filled up) drain, of any opening width and depth by removing and re-fixing of cover-slab (wherever applicable) taking out accumulated silt, mud, earth, rubbish, vegetation etc from the drain, washing of the drain with water and removing the same at a distance exceeding 1.0 km but not exceeding 5 km where directed complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up/down plants or vegetation growth wall upto roof level by means of cutting hole into brickwall and making good the surface of dismatled portion (not exc 150 sqm cm superficial area and not exc one brick depth) using brick bats/aggregate and plastering in cement mortar (1:4) to distributed portion and applying two coat of cement base paint to match existing surface up to fourth floor complete allas specified and directed.

Cutting of vegetation, grass, bush, weed, tree height upto 1 mtr above the ground level in around 3 mtr the perihery of manhole, drain etc and removal of the vegetation, branches, tree roots etc to a distance exc 500 mtr but not exc 1 km where directed complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying 450 mm bore reinforced concrete pipe of Class NP-3, laid and jointed with jute & cement mortar 1:2, complete with collars all specified and as directed.

M&L rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instruction, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as a specified and as directed. (NOTE: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately)

Supply only liquid water proofing compound all as specified and as directed.

M&L for attending day to day complaints on regular basis including removal of blockage, cleaning of sewer / drain / manhole (upto 1.0 m depth) / gully trap / floor trap / nahni trap, manually, of any description and in any position including taking down carefully RCC/PCC/MS/CI cover slab of any type, thickness or size and refixing the same after necessary cleaning etc and removal of sludge outside of MOD land complete all as specified and directed. NOTES: 1) The sludge/debris shall be disposed off by the contractor outside MOD land under his own arrangement. Contractor is expected to consider this aspect whicle quoting his rates. No claim, whatsoever, shall be entertained on this account afterwards. 2) Quoted rate of contractor shall be deemed to include for all tools & plants and other allied materials required for making sewage line functional. 3) Contractor shall depute his labour/supervisor for receiving daily complaints from MES complaint Cell or concerned JE and ensure prompt clearance of blockage/complaint within 24 hours.
