Work

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrw pit with lift 1.50 m transporting to site , spreading grading to required slope and compaction to meet requirement of Table 300. 1 and 300. 2 with a lead of 1000 m. as per Technical Specification clause 301.5 MORD 301.5 (3.4)/SN-15 ROADWORK including 10.00 k.m. extra cartage.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Tachnical Specification Clause 401

Edging with straight over burnt bricks, laid dry lengthwise, including excavation,refilling, consolidation, with a handpacking and spreading nearly surplus earth within a lead of 50 metres. As per SOR Ch. 25 ROAD WORKS morth (11.15) SOR 21

Providing Laying spreading and compaction stone aggregates of 63-45 mm size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming stone screening binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification clause 405.

Providing Laying spreading and compaction stone aggregates of 53-22.4 mm size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming stone screening binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification clause 405.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates (13.2 mm and 11.2 mm grits in ratio 2:1) either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508.Bitumen (S-90)

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A, Type B and Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 510 Bitumen (S-90)
