SPECIAL REPAIR TO CERTAIN OVERHEAD TANKS AT AF STN KALAIKUNDA UNDER GE AF KALAIKUNDA

M&L 60000 gallons over head stage mounted water tank cleaning , seven stage cleaning and sterilization of water tanks through bacteriological treatment by using terbac G5/Inchlor-5/NB-10, Terbac G-65/Inoxi-60 and ultra violet ray. (i)First stage is to drain out the water by using exit valve or our own high tank capacity dewatering system. (ii) Second stage is cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank by using Terbac G-10 or equivalent, a laboratory tested branded chemical of the company and scrubbing the walls of the tank. (iii)Third stage is fresh water cleaning by high speed jet pump. (iv) Fourth stage and first bacteria screening is degermification by using Terbac G5/Inchlor-5/NB-10 a laboratory certified branded halogen compound. (v) Fifth stage is cleaning the floor of the water tank by industrial vacuum cleaner. (vi) Sixth stage is the second bacteria screening and sterilizing method by using ultra violet ray with in the tank and kills all suspended bacteria. (vii) Seventh stage of cleaning and third bacteria screening is to sterilize the floor of the water tank by using laboratory certified branded strong oxidizing agent TERBAC G-65/Inoxi-60/NB-60/equivalent.

Item NO. 1 continue:- Note: (i)Work will be done by the technical guidance of any authorised manufacture and all as directed by Eng-in-charge. (ii) Company will fix the sticker mentioning the date of cleaning & name of site and also provide certificate the completion of sterilization of water tanks.

M&L for full pocess of over head wate tanks water poofing (i) Cutting of the constuction joints "V" shaped grooves. (ii) Drilling of holes to a minimum depth of 25 mm in CC wall/bottom @ 60cm cente to centre and grouting with cement grout as per manufactues instruction. (iii) Patching the entire "V" shaped grooves with cement, admixed with quick setting compound all as per manufacture instruction. (iv) Next the grouting is to be done with Intaplast EP/(equivalent)- a free flowing grout mix, all these operations are made from outside the reservoir filled with water. (v) Fixing of GI nozzles for grouting with quick setting compound admixed with cement all as per manufacturer instructions. (vi) Now the water to be made empty and a water poofing coating to be made in 2 coats with epoxy coating portable water grade with scaffolding inside and outside. Note:- (i)Minimum five years water proofing warranty should be provided by the applicator. (ii)Work will be done by the technical guidance of any authorised manufacture and all as directed by Eng-in-charge.

Demarcate the damaged areas, providing double scaffolding, steel props, bracing etc to removal of all loose/unsound/bad/damaged concete o plaster existing RCC structure of Slab/Beam/Column by using chisel/rubber hammer or electrically operated mechanism. Cut and remove unsound reinforcement bars, wires etc without damaging the sound reinforcement, clean loose rust from bars manually with brush or electrically operated buffing wheel, fixing new supplymentary epoxy coated bars if required, either by tying it with existing bars or by welding on it(supplymentay bars will be measured and paid separately). Applying rust removing alakaline pimer. After 24 hrs clean the surface using hard wire brush and applying one coat of epoxy based rust passiveting coating(Fosroc) with scaffolding and all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L applying bond coat of epoxy bonding agent (Nito bond) & cement in 1:1 ratio for bonding old and new concrete on damaged surfaces, applying polymer modified motar in CM 1:3 including mixing of polymer latex additive (polymer latex additives will be measured and paid separately) 20 mm average thickness. Note:- (i) Quantity of polymer to be use 15% by weight of cement (ii) Use the electrical mixer to get homogenious dough on bond coat surfaces. (iii) To achieve required thickness repeat this step after 24 hrs to as required. (iv) Keep the surfaces moist using water fog for 5 to 7 days with scaffolding and all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply only polymer latex additives and all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces and applying two coats of weather coat paint over a coat of primer etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old painted surfaces and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel sufaces of any desciption not otherwise described over 10 cm width o girth etc (yellow, green,red) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old surface of walls and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion paint(weather coat) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L RCC 1:1.5:3 (20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in column piers, beams etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bend to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8 mm dia, cut to length, bend to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers,columns, and stanchions fair finished surfaces of concrete Square, rectangular or polygonal complete all as specified and as directed.

Formwork to sides & soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors & beams, etc. Fair finished surfaces of concrete flat complete all as specified and as directed.

Hard drawn steel wire fabric cut to lenghts, bent to shape required & tying with & including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia supplied & fixed in reinforcement Weight per square metre exc 4 Kg complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE:- After the completion of the work necessary testings will be carried out by the manufacturer for leakage proofing in the presence of Eng-in-charge and the test results will be submitted and approved by the GE.
