Widening and improvement of Jhatikra-Badusarai road in Matiala Assemby Constituency AC-34.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1km (by mechanical means).

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of soil.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand)

Supply of building rubbish by mechanical transport upto a lead of 5 Km including royalty, loading, unloading, stacking at site and banking the same in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth breaking clods, rolling each layer with ½ tonne roller or wooden or steel rammer and rolling every 3rd and top most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonne and dressing up in embankment for road, flood bank and guide bank or filling up ground depression lead upto 50m and for all lifts in all kind of soil.

Supply of earth including royalty excavation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical transport lead upto 5.00 KM and banking the same in layer not exceeding 20cm in depth breaking clods watering rolling each layer with ½ tone roller or wooden or steel rammer and rolling every 3rd and top most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonne sand dressing up in embankment for roads, flood banks, marginal banks and guide banks or filling up ground depressions with all lifts in all kind of soil.

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for plain cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana/Ordinary Portland/Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS : 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Note : Extra cement upto 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the minimum specified cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. All works up to plinth level: Concrete of M-10 grade with minimum cement content of 220 kg/cum.

Providing and laying RMC of M-30 grade by using minimum 400kg of cement(43 garde,OPC) per cum of concrete in roads/streets manufactured in automatic RMC plant using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size in appropriate proportion as per approved design criteria including transportation to site in transit mixer, including cost of admixture in recommended proportion as per IS9103 to accelerate/retard setting of concrete to improve workability with out imparing strength and durability as per specification including spreading and compacting machenically by using needle and surface vibrators, levelling to required slope & camber, finishing by floating & brooming with wire brushes etc. and curing including making provision for contraction/expansion, construction of cross/longitudinal joints of size 10mm wide 50mm deep by groove cutting machine, providing and filing joints with approved joint filler and sealents, etc. complete, sa per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Cost of joint filler & sealents shall be paid for seperately under relevant items) providing M-30 grade concrete RMC.

Providing and filling in position rubberized bitumen hot sealing compound for sealing of expansion joints in roads / pavements all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Using grade A sealing compound confirming to IS 1834.
