COMPREHENSIVE MAINT TO EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY FOR DAY TO DAY COMPLAINTS

Labour only for attending day to day external water supply complaints of all nature and any situation i.e. leakage in water supply pipe lines, fittings/fixtures, over flow of overhead tank, no water supply including write down the complaints in complaint register and depute labour for attanding complaint complete all as specified and as directed.(Note 1 :- Any material required for attending complaints for rectification shall be measured and paid separately under respective item herein after) (Note 2 :- Quoted rates includes following other aspects as given below). (i) The complaints shall be attended and the defects shall be rectified by a team of expert and experienced electrician/plumber as applicable assisted with adequate numbers of helpers complete all as specified and as directed. Minimum requirements of skilled and unskilled workers for whole contract period are as under:- (a) One plumber or fitter with one helper. (b) One Electrician or fitter with one helper. (ii) Requirement of additional workers if required for rectification of any complaint (occationally) will be provided by contractor on urgent requirement basis as directed by EIC without any extra cost. (iii) The complaints shall be attended and defect shall be rectified within 04 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 1000/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from contractor's dues. Contractor shall appoint suitable staff for receive and register of complaints received in person/through telephone/mobile and issue and control contractors stores and workers will required to available within time daily at 0800 hrs to 2000 Hrs to receive and notify each complaint. Attendence register of workers daily basis will provided by contractor duly signed by JE E/M & Eng-in-Charge.

(iv) In case, after checking and attending the defect, it is not possible to rectify the defects within 08 hrs the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in -charge by the contractor /his rep . If Engineer -in-charge is satisfied with contractors view, no recovery will be made. (v) While attending the complaint of water supply /Electric supply if earth work is required then the same shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of Sch 'A' . However no extra payments shall be made for dewatering. (vi) Cutting of GI pipe in position and threading is also deemed to be included in the job rate (Fitting and fixtures will be measured and paid separetely under respective item of Sch A. (vii) All T & P including safety gears required for attending the complaints shall be provided by the contracor.

Supply only of stop valve of PTMT 15 mm dia any colour high pressure screwed for iron pipe and fixed.(minium weight 15 mm - 90 gms / 20 mm - 92 gms) required to complete the complaint work

Supply and fix in repair tank nipple 20 mm size suitable for PVC/HDPE water tank (minimum weight 45gms 20 mm / 65gms for 25 mm) complete.

Supply only GI Socket 15 mm bore 'Medium' grade ISI Marked complete all as specified and as directed.
