Material & Laying, jointing and testing in replacement of LT under ground electric power cable crossed linked polyethylene ( XLPE) insulated, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, ISI-7098 Marked, with aluminium conductor multi stranded , heavy duty 1100 Volts grade of size 10 sqmm cross sectional area, 2.00 core, complete all as specified laid in trenches / laid under floor or fixed naked with walls / on poles/ in ducts / in GI pipes etc. with and including MS Clamps, nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, protection bricks/ tiles/ block and pipe shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 metre deep in soft / loose soil for laying / taking up/ taking down of cables and getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick using excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for dry Sand cushioning in trenches for protection of cable including watering and consolidation all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness (18 cm) shall be consider for measurement purpose

M&L for demolition /cutting of road/ path/hardstading/ concrete in floor, etc for laying of cable complete all as directed at site by Engr-in-charge

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates for filling of cutting of roads/path/hardstanding etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 40 mm bore mild steel galvanised water tubing, light grade with all fittings and fixed to walls or laid on floors / fixed to poles / or passing under road crossing, for protection of UG cable including taking down old cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting the existing cable from Panel / Pole, preparing the end for jointing including all earth work, Supply and fixing straight through heat shrinkable joint suitable for LT XLPE cable of size 3.5/4 core 10 to 16 sq mm

Supply & fix in replacement twin core, 6 sqmm nominal cross sectional area multistranded aluminium conductor cable, over all PVC sheathed, 1100 Volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated and PVC sheathed complete all as specified.
