Material and Labour for mixing water proofing material in cement per bag for plaster work, in proportion recommended by the manufacturers complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for cutting V grooves 15mm x 15mm in existing roof or terrace and cleaning out and filling /making good with epoxy based compound NITOMARTAR PE of FOSROC chemicals as per directions of manufacturer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PU based water proofing with following steps:- (a)Mechanical cleaning of surface to make it free from any bituminous residue / dirt oil and Greece. (b) Cutting open cracks for cracks treatment and cleaning it from dirt / loose materials etc and filling with polyurethane based sealant with and including application of PU based primer. (c) Applying water based polyurethane modified dispersion (single component, cold applied, non toxic, VOC complaint) in 03 coats including 01 coat of primer of same material after dilution of water at 50% or specific primer matching same material as per manufacturer specification. (d) A layer of geotextile grid of minimum 40gsm sandwich in between two PU layers as per manufacturer’s specification be provided. Properties of Poly urethane based chemical shall confirm to following techincal parameters:- (i) Highly elastic (ii) UV resistance (iii) Adhesion to concrete >1N/Sqmm Contd..7

Contd.. 6 (iv) Tensile Strength- not less than 2.0 N/Sqmm for free film (v) Elongation- Not less than 300% (vi) Solid content by weight - not less than 60% (vii) Air/Water permeability BSEN 12390 at 5 bar -72 hours should be NIL and minimum dry film thickness of water proofing membrane must be 1.0mm (viii) Accelerated weathering (ASTM 453): Pass 1000 hours. (ix) Reaction to fire - non inflammable. NOTES :- (a). To be applied by the rep of manufacturer’s authorised applicator only. Contractor has to provide manufacturer’s test certificate for the above mentioned Technical parameters and purchase vouchers. (b). Removal of existing treatment to be paid separately. (c). Roof slop to be ensured to avoid water ponding. (d) For accessible terrace and in-accessible terrace, 300mm height of vertical surface/parapet wall to be treated with same specification of slab.

(Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm) all as specified and as directed
