EARTH WORKS

NS 1-Diluting and injecting chemical emulsion for pre constructional anti-termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under and around wall trenches, basement excavation, top surface of plinth filling, junction of walls and floors along with external perimeter of the building, surrounding the pipes and conduits etc. complete at the rate of 7.5 liters (or as directed by the manufacturer) per sqm on vertical surface and 5.0 liters (or as directed by the manufacturer) per sqm on horizontal surfaces, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at 150mm center to center etc.complete as per IS:6313/1981 (Part-II), manufacturer's specifications and direction of the Engineer -in-charge.( plinth area of the building at ground floor only shall be measured in sqm for payment )With chloropyriphos emulsifiable concentrates of 20 % with 1 % concentration.

NS 1 a- Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator, concrete breaker/hilti, tractor mounted compressor) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.

CONCRETE WORKS

NS 2 - Providing and laying light weight foam concrete in sunken portion at all levels. Density of the concete shall be 400-450 Kg/Cum using OPC as binder, litho foam as network former, litho foam SL 200L as forming agent and fiber, all complete as per manufacturer's specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge

FIRE DOOR

NS 3 -Providing and fixing of fully insulated 55 mm thick wooden fire / smoke check door shutter using 31mm thick FR insulation with internal facia of 9mm thick calcium silicate board having density not less then 950 Kg/cum on both sides and faced with 4mm thick commercial ply facing including 15X55 mm size hardwood beading with fire and smoke seal of size 10 X4 mm fitted along vertical and horizontal edges of the shutter .The complete door system should be capable to achieve Two hour fire rating in accordance with BS:476 Part 20and IS:3614 part II.Rate to include 150x75mm Hardwood door frame duly embedded with Promseal Intumscent Smoke Strip as per manufacturer's specification all complete . The door shutter shall also have a vision panel 6mm thk, 200mm x 300mm / 300mm x 300mm fire rated glass ( to be paid saperately), surrounded with fire proof treated teakwood beading, all around complete in all respects as per manufactures specifications and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

NS 6- Providing & fixing Granite work gang saw cut (polished and machine cut) of thickness 18mm for wall lining,skirting and dado (veneer work) in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) including pointing with white cement mortar 1:2 (1 white cement : 2 marble dust) with an admixture of pigment to match the marble shade: (To be secured to the backing by means of cramps, which shall be paid for separately).

NS 8- Providing & Fixing Chicken Mesh of apreacher 25mm with 22 SWG Wire on the junction of R.C.C work & brick work under the plaster by U nail. Complete as per direction of Engineer in charge.

NS 38 - Supplying, storing, Installation, Testing & commissioning of the following capacity Storage type Hot Water electrical horizontal heaters with insulation, and stove enameled M.S. bracket, thermostatically controlled immersion heater, with pilot lamp, 15/20mm dia inlet with non return valve and 15/20mm dia outlet including making connections complete in all respects as required. NS 39 - SAFETY EQUIPMENTS

NS 39.1 - Supplying and fixing of non-skid rubber mat 12mm thick and 900mm width as required including cutting to required lengths of approved make with Test Certificates suitable for 1100 Volt.

NS 39.2 - Supplying and fixing of shock treatment chart written in English and Hindi duly framed in as required.

NS 39.3 - Supplying and fixing of first aid box as approved complete with standard kit as prescribed by Indian Red Cross.

NS 39.4 - Supply of Hand gloves made out of rubber suitable for 1100 volt grade

NS 39.5 - Supplying and fixing of a set of four nos. of fire bucket painted red and duly filled with sand conforming to IS: 2546-1974 complete with MS stand suitable for supporting four buckets (Pedestal type)

NS 39.6 -Supplying and fixing of 4.5 kgs. Capacity carbon dioxide type fire extinguisher of ISI approved make with wall mounting bracket as required.

NS 39.7 -Supplying and fixing of 4 kgs. Capacity ABC dry powder type fire extinguisher of ISI approved make with wall mounting bracket as required.

NS 40 -Providing, fixing, testing & commissioning of SS spring loaded air relief valve for pressure of 16 kg/sqm of approved quality with SS isolation valve, tapers, G.I. pipes and specials etc. including making necessary screwed/ flanged joints by providing all jointing materials including painting and testing the joints to hydraulic pressures specified for pipes all complete as per drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

NS 41 - Providing and fixing Cast Carbon Steel / forged brass CS Ball valve (Hyd. Test pressure body 30 kg/cm2 & seat 21 kg/cm2) of the following size: (Cost inclusive of providing necessary union / flange connection).

NS 42 - Providing & fixing indoor type hose lockable cabinet frames fabricated from 40 x 40 x 5 angle iron sections and 16 gauge MS sheet with full front glass door and locking arrangement, suitable to accommodate landing valves, 15 m long hoses, first-aid hose reel and branch pipe nozzle & fire mans’ axe. The cabinet frame shall be painted with one coat of primer and two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and shade, as required (Approx 2.1 m (high) x 0.9 m (wide) ). The item shall be complete of MS housing with front door.(Cost shall be inclusive of providing break glass box containing key for the cabinet along with hammer).

NS 43 - Providing and fixing standard firemans axe with heavy rubber handle.

NS 44 - Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Control Panel in common cubicle with suitable compatmentation for Booster Pumps as per requirment of the drives and with auto on/off logic and operational sequence as per specifications with all meterial, accessories, instrumentation etc.complete.( GA drawing including circuit diagram shall be submitted by the contractor and to be approved by Eingineer-in-charge.

NS 45 - Providing & fixing 150 mm dial type Pressure gauge of (0-16kg/cm2) range with gun metal shut off cock etc. duly calibrated before installation in MKS and FPS units and fixing the same where required as directed including all fittings, short piece, nipples, elbows testing the joints etc.all complete. (Quantity of this item will be payable only where it has not been included in the relevant composite items).
