Note :The unit rate quoted by the tenderer under Col No (13) of Sch `A’ (BOQ) unless specifically mentioned otherwise such as labour only/fixing only, for all items of works shall be deemed to be including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, testing and commissioning of work in position complete as required for entire completion of work.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks Fly ash bricks (bricks shall be burnt clay fly ash building bricks as per IS- 13757), straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement sand mortar 1:4 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for the area where unservicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

First quality glazed ( digital glossy finish) ceramic coloured tiles of 350x450x8 mm thick fixed joint free laid on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados and risers to steps etc laid over and including 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) set and jointed in neat cement paste of honey like consistancy and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in and including dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Design, pattern and colour of tiles will be as approved by GE. (ii) Tile work to be executed in any position or in any patches or as per site requirement.

First quality, Non skid ceramic coloured tiles, 7 to 8 mm thick joint free (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sq.m but not exceeding 0.18 Sq.m, laid in floors with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in and including dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Design, pattern and colour of tiles will be as approved by GE. (ii) Tile work to be executed in any position or in any patches or as per site requirement.

Vitrified ceramic tiles (light Shade) 9 to 10 mm thick (square/ractangular) coloured polished tiles, area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm laid in floors with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:6) including pointing in white or coloured cement with pigment to match the shade of tiles in and including dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Machine cut Mirror polished Kota stone slab flooring of 17-18 mm thick laid over 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing in and including demolition of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc, laid bedded and pointed in cement mortar and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes :(i) Rate of kota stone flooring includes for all cutting and waste including machine cutting to make it square or rectangular. (ii) The quoted rate is inclusive for polishing by machine.

Machine cut Kota stone slab of 17-18 mm thick as in risers of steps skirting, dado and risers to step etc laid over 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) and jointed with grey cement slurry, mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing in and including demolition of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc, laid bedded and pointed in cement mortar and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes :(i) Rate of kota stone flooring includes for all cutting and waste including machine cutting to make it square or rectangular. (ii) The quoted rate is inclusive for polishing by machine.

Granite (of any type ) 16-18 mm thick, work (table rubbed and polished) fine grained 'Z' black/red in cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite over and including screed bed of 15 mm thick in CM 1:3 in and including demolition of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc, laid bedded and pointed in cement mortar and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Rendering 15 mm thick on brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished the surfaces fair and even without using extra cement , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:3), as on concrete surfaces (such as top & bottom of chajjas, beams, balcony ceiling ,roof slab ceiling etc.) finished the surfcae even and smooth without using extra cement in and including taking down cement plaster on brick walls & concrete surfaces & the like including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., any description, and removing of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for item No. 09 to 13: (i).Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for necessary scaffolding for building . (ii) No extra payment made to contractor for work in small patches as required at site/as directed. (iii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.

Preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of Ceiling and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over 1mm thick wall care putty to smoothening the surface by using sand paper , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.

Preparation of newly plastered /unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm for building upto Ground+2 storey high, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i).Weather proof exterior emulsion paint and primer shall be of same manufacturer. (ii)Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for necessary scaffolding for building upto Ground+2 storey high. (iii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.

Taking down Chowkhats with shutters without taking of shutter from the frame of any description not exceeding 1.50 Sq. m each, and making good the disturbed surface in CM 1:4 /tiling work & finished with similar specification as exists, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The quoted rate is inclusive of plastering/tiling work which is required for making good of existing surfaces in similar specification.

Taking down Chowkhats with shutters without taking of shutter from the frame of any description exceeding 1.50 Sq. m but not exceeding 4.00 Sq. m each, and making good the disturbed surface in CM 1:4 /tiling work & finished with similar specification as exists, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The quoted rate is inclusive of plastering/tiling work which is required for making good of existing surfaces in similar specification.

Taking down shutters of any description exceeding 1.00 Sq. m but not exceeding 2.00 Sq. m eeach and making good the disturbed surface in CM 1:4 & finished with similar specification as exists, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Pressed steel frames of size 105 x 60 mm, made out of 1.25mm thick sheet for doors with one or more rebates including necessary fixing lugs, hinges (mild steel butt hinges medium weight, cold rolled, 100 mm, ISI marked), lock strike plate, etc., with and including back filling PCC (1:3:6), type C-0,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note :Cost of filling hollow of frame with plain cement concrete shall be included in the quoted rate and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account .

Pressed steel frames of size 125 x 60 mm, made out of 1.25mm thick sheet for doors with one or more rebates including necessary fixing lugs, hinges (mild steel butt hinges medium weight, cold rolled, 100 mm, ISI marked), lock strike plate, etc., with and including back filling PCC (1:3:6), type C-0,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note :Cost of filling hollow of frame with plain cement concrete shall be included in the quoted rate and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account .

Factory made PVC solid door frame of size 50 mm x 47 mm with wall thickness of 5 mm made out of 5 mm thick plain colour PVC sheet cut at corner and jointed with 02 Nos., 150 mm long brackets of size 15 mm x 15 mm mild steel square tubes 19 gauge including vertical door profiles reinforced with 19 mm x 19 mm steel square tube of 19 gauge (EPDM) rubber gasket weather seal provided throughout the frame and fixed to wall with 65/100 mm long mild steel screws through the frame by using PVC fasteners (minimum of 04 Nos. of screws to be provided for each vertical member & minimum 02 Nos. for horizontal member) as per specification & drawing and as per manufacturer's instructions as shown on drawing in section 8 on Page 180 of SSR Part-II ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Factory made solid panel PVC door shutters 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tube for top and bottom rails. MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC 'C' channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20 mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for style and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail and bottom rail on either sides & as gap insert for top- rail and bottom rails. Paneling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS frame welded/sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement supplying and fixing in the frame at site as per specification & drawing and as per manufacturer's instructions as shown on drawing in section 8 on Page 176 of SSR Part-II ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Factory made box type steel window with pintle hinges and two nos 150mm mild steel tower bolts to each shutter, steel handle and with glazing bars dovetailed or welded and with one shop coat of zinc chromate primer in and including cutting holes in brick walls for inserting holdfasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:4 or cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1, complete all as specified and shown on Drawing No CEAF/STD-184-2012 Sheets 1/3 & 3/3 and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Factory made made box type steel window with pintle hinges and two Nos 150mm mild steel tower bolts to each shutter, steel handle and without glazing bars, including flat iron 12 x 3 mm for securing wire mesh, dovetailed or welded and with one shop coat of zinc chromate primer complete in and including cutting holes in brick walls for inserting holdfasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:4 or cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1, complete all as specified and shown on Drawing No CEAF/STD-185-2012 Sheets 1/2 & 2/2 and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Factory made box type steel ventilator fixed type, dovetailed or welded and with one shop coat of zinc chromate primer in and including cutting holes in brick walls for inserting holdfasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:4 or cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1, complete all as specified and shown on Drawing No CEAF/STD-186-2012 Sheets 1/1 and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Factory made made box type steel ventilator with glazed shutter or gauzed shutter with glazing bars or flat iron 12 x 3mm dovetailed or welded for fixing wire mesh/glass and with one shop coat of zinc chromate primer in and including cutting holes in brick walls for inserting holdfasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:4 or cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1, complete all as specified and shown on Drawing No CEAF/STD-186-2012 Sheets 1/1 and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Factory made 35 mm thick (Batten thickness) 2nd class hard wood plain, framed, paneled shutters( two number No of panels) with panels of timber flat on both sides (feather edges) with lock rail and panel of 9 mm thick BWP commercial ply or 12 mm thick veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces and size of rail and stile as per IS :1003 (Part I), kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated and detapering from 5 mm to 10 mm around the panel on one side fitted to chowkat, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Preparation of new or previously untreated wooden surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamells paint over one coat of pink primer ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamells paint over one coat of red oxide primer,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Pre-colour coated high tensile strength galvalume sheet roofing with yield strength (550 NPA) prepainted with aluminium (55%) and zinc (45%) alloy coating applied through continous hot dip process having tatal coated thickness (TCT) of 0.50mm with minimum coating mass on both sides @ 150gms/sqm in length and width as per site condition fixed with complete acessories as per manufacturer's instructions through specialist agency and as per profile and shade as approved by GE in and including dismantling plain or corrugated steel /fibre sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Vitreous China squating pan, 'Orissa' pattern, size 580x440mm white, with integral foot rests, including 100mm cast iron 'P' or 'S' trap and 100mm cast iron sanitary connection socket to fit WC outlet including connection to trap, to flushing pipe, anti-syphonage pipe etc. complete including making good to floor fixed as in repair , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in -Charge. WPC to be laminated with PVC foil of minimum 14 microns thick of approved design pasted with hot melt adhesive on both faces of shutter and fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. For fixing Mosquito mesh and XTN aluminimium mesh combinly panel area of door exceept stiles and rails to be panelled with mesh with self tapping round headedscrews at required distence, scres and edges covered with body theareted PVC edge beading all arround of mesh and fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid plain flush type as in shutter or exposed member of Cupboard/Kitchen Cabinet shutter of 18mm thick with Balancing on one face and wooden grain pattern lamonation on exposed surface with and including 18 mm wide 0.8 to 1 mm thick PVC leaping on exposed face to match with shade of shutter fixed with suitable solvent comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant, in and including dismantling of old board/Cup board shutter any description fixed in any postion with nails ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Aluminium powder coating (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron of approved colour) three track window (two shutters glazed & one shutters wiregauge) with frame, glazed with 4 mm thick tinted glass and, wire gauge with stainless steel wire cloth 0.36 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40 mm including rubber bead joining cleat for fixing in position, concealed type lock for all three shutter, PVC roller etc all as specified below, including taking down old window , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.
