Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes,cables,pipe line,pole etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out, in any type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Returning filling in, trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Removing excavated surplus materials to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point. Note for item No 1 to 3 :- During the excavation any damage to the existing services like telephone cable,electric cable, sewage line etc will be repaired by the contractor at his own risk & cost. No extra payment will be born by the dept. on this account.

Taking out unservicable GI/CI/DI/MS tubing 20 /25/40/50 mm bore from the trenches/over ground Complete with fittings as directed by Engr-in-Charge
