Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All kinds of soil

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

1:4:8 (1 cement : 8 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :

1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 5.0 in foundation and plinth in:

Coursed rubble masonry (Second sort) with hard stone supplied by the department in foundation and plinth with : Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) (Note- Only stone shall be supplied free of cost and agency shall quote rate excluding stone)

Coursed rubble masonry (second sort) with hard stone in foundation & plinth with : Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand).

Providing and fixing 110mm dia PVC pipe weep holes (pipe of approved quality) at ground level for drainage of rain water inserting the pipe and closing the hole with cement concrete (1:2:4) all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. ( PVC pipe of length upto 0.60m)

Cutting of tree routes encountered in foundation trench to receive bed concrete using carpenter saw, power cutter saw and axe wherever required complete as directed and disposal of debris to a lead of 50m.

Trenchs of area upto 1.50sqm

Refixing available MS grill (supplied by the department) above reinstated compound wall including providing temprary support with Bamboo/prop for proper alignment breaking concrete/mortar lump over embedded portion, providing and welding 40x40x5mm MS angle 150mm long hold fast wherever required embedding in concrete etc. complete as directed. (Note concrete bed block etc. shall be paid for separately and overall area shall be measured for payment))

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

12 mm cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix :

1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content.

With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre.
