Aluminium Baffle Ceiling (manufactured by Hunter Douglas or approved equivalent) in approved shade & colour consisting of panel size 75 mm width x 150mm deep to form module at 400mm c/c (both ways) using 0.6mm thick, panel length upto 4 metres, coil coated on a continuous paint line, double baked and roll formed from enameled corrosion resistant Aluminium alloy AA 3005 (Al.Mg) for higher strength and good roll forming characteristics. The panels shall be clipped to a baked enameled aluminium carrier of 30 mm wide x 47 mm high x 0.5 mm thick, black colour coated, one leg of the carriers with cut outs to hold the panels in a module of 150 mm, 200 mm and 400 mm. or retract the top and bottom seals through gear mechanism which shall firmly hold the seals in the retracted or extended mode. The panel trims shall be standard series with exposed Aluminum trims of 15mm thickness finished in 6063 - T5 anodized aluminum shall be used. Each panel shall have top and bottom rubber retractable seal with concave / convex vertical interlocking profiles. The vinyl seal of butane rubber shall be used at top and bottom and as well as for closure seals for the operable wall system. the retractable seal drop shall be 20mm.

ii) Track & Trolley : Each Panel shall be single point suspended on extruded 6063-T5 anodized aluminum track, double wheel steel cold ball bearing rollers / trolley of material nylon wheel made with the base material of tempered steel, maintenance free with multiple ball bearing. The individual element shall be adjustable in height without opening of the ceiling.

iii) Framework : The frame work for the elements shall be made out of MS Tubular sections and aluminium extruded sections, bolted together to form the elements. All MS and aluminium surfaces shall be finished with minimum 50 microns thick super durable polyester powder coating.iv) Panels : The panels shall be 110 mm thick and shall be made out of 16mm MDF panels hung in acoustic isolation from the frame and allowed to vibrate independently of the frame. The panels shall be filled with acoustic material mineral wool of 64 Kg/ m3 density & approved sound damping layer of 2 mm thick high density material to achieve Sound STC of minimum 51 dbA. The width of panel will be approximately 1200mm or as required. The panel surfaces (both sides) shall be finished with 1.5mm thick laminate.

v) Acoustical Infill : Each panel shall have an acoustical infill of Mineral Wool of 64 Kg / Cum, 6mm anti-donning layer having thermal conductivity 0.037 @ 20 C as per EN ISO 8497 (DIN 52613) and 2 mm thick approved sound damping layer to achieve STC of minimum 51 dbA as required. The manufacturer of the system must supply an acoustic test certificate in accordance with the specific acoustic requirements, from a recognised reputable acoustic laboratory, tested in accordance with IS: 9901 (Part-II)-1981, DIN-52210 Part-IV-1984, ISO:140 Part – III -1995 or approved BS equivalent. The test certificate must clearly show the make and model of the wall system and the corresponding test result.

vi) Panel Housing : Providing, fabricating and fixing laminated wooden boxing to the sliding folding partitions of required size to accomodate the movable partition wall and supported on aluminium framework complete as per approved shop drawings and details. The panel housing frame shall be with minimum 20 microns matt anodized finish in approved shade.

vii) Operation : Partitions shall be top supported, manually operated panels stacked in an area as indicated in the plans. When closed, the operable wall shall provide a complete sound retardant barrier. No floor track shall be used.
