Clearing compound premises of shurbs, plants, jungles etc. by cutting and removing as directed (Specific permission of Engineer-in-Charge prior to execution will be necessary).

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

(b) Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 1,500 mm. and upto 3,000 mm. but not requiring shoring

(c) Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 3000 mm. upto 4000mm. excluding cost of shoring as necessary.

(A) Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity).

Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. a) Pakur Variety

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (a) Steel shuttering or 9 to 12 mm thick approved quality ply board shuttering in any concrete work

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction.(a) For works in foundation, basement and upto roof of ground floor/upto 4 m (i) Tor steel/Mild Steel II. Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Hire and labour charges for shoring work (including necessary close plank walling, framing, Eucalyptus/Jhou bulla piling, strutting etc.) complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge for foundation excavation (vertical surface are in contact with supported earth is to be measured.) (This item should be executed on specific direction of the Engineer in charge).(a) Depth up to 1.5 m.

Supply empty cement bags in good condition.

Filling empty cement bags with dry earth or sand stitching the bag (cost of thread included and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charge complete but excluding cost of sand and gunnybags)

Cost of Silver Sand as per approved specification stacked at site.

Drum Sheet Walling 1.40m (av.) high on Sal-bullah / Eucalyptus bullah piling 10 cm dia. and 3.25m long driven 1.75m (av.) below G.L. and 75cm centre to centre including fitting fixing 3 nos. of half bullah pieces (from 10 cm dia) and drum(empty bitumen) sheet (approved condition) of height 1.5m , cutting and straightening drum sheet (each joint must have lap length of min.50mm) including cost of necessary nails, bolts, nuts etc. and providing 2 to 3m long half bullah ties of 10cm dia. @ 2.25 m centre to centre fixed with 10 cm dia. bullah posts driven 1.5m below G.L. including cost of all materials and one coat of coal tarring to all bullah etc. complete as per direction. (i) Using Eucalyptus bullah.

Bailing out water by pump including all leads and lifts and including making all arrangements for disposal, where continuous flow or seepage of water is encountered and rating of pumps and hours of operation is specifically ascertained as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Labour charge for fitting & fixing 10cm to 13cm diameter sal bullah as ties and runners including cost of nuts & bolts required complete as per direction of EIC
