Material and labour for point wiring with 2.5 sqmm (nominal area) PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor (1100 V grade) FRLS cable drawing in and including PVC rigid concealed conduit of suitable dia, ISI marked, medium grade with all conduit fittings and accessories for one light point controlled by one switch alongwith PVC insulated cable with solid copper conductor of size 1.5 sqmm and connected to earth dolly including fixing of 1.6 mm thick MS sunken terminal box suitably flushed to wall with 3.0 mm thick plastic laminated/ebonite sheet cover fixed with brass screws & cup washer for circuit of 150 watt, 4 nos medium bay sodium vapour lamp complete all as specified and directed. Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of diesel engine driven generating set of capacity 30 KVA/ 24 KW or nearby higher capacity, 1500 RPM, water cooled mounted on common base frame conforming to BS-5514 and IS-10002, rated for 415 Volts 50 cycles, 0.8 PF complete suitable for Burdong, considering all derating factor. with relay panel for automatic starting on main's failure and acoustic enclosure as per relevant IS with control panel complete all as under:- (A) Vertical multicylinder, cold starting in accordance with BS-5514 / IS : 10002 at 1500 RPM including the following accessories :- (i) Fuel Tank suitable for capacity for min 12 hrs run. NOTE : (i) Anti vibration pads of suitable size shall be provided. (ii) Foundation / platform of DG set to be made as per manufacturers instruction. Provision shall be made to drain out used lube oil during replacement. (iii) Exhaust pipe of engine is to be extended out of the building with suitable dia of MS pipe duly painted with anti corrosive paint and insulated with suitable dia asbestos rope duly claded with plaster of paris the cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of DG set. (iv) First fill of lubricating oil and fuel shall be provided by the contractor during testing of engine. The cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of DG set.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of electric motor siren conforming to IS:1941, suitable for three phase 415 volts supply with motor not exceeding 3.75 KW power and able to deliver 143 DB noise level upto a distance of 1000 mtr including necessary starter, switch fuse unit of suitable capacity and having automatic equipment for producing a warbling note including necessary electric connections complete all as specified and directed.

AUTOMETIC BARRIER, Sch A Part VIII

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning electric operated Automatic Boom Barriers, 200-240 volts AC, 12-24 volts DC, 50 Hz, weight 160-200 Kg (appprox), boom length 13-18 feet and adjustable opening timing 6-12 seconds with single wing including induction motor, DOL starter, electronic control, steel wire, winch of suitable size, concrete pillar, electric cable and limit switches all as per following specifications :- (a) Drive Mechanism : Electromechanical drive unit operated by microprocessor based control panel. The drive unit shall consist of gears, shaft, crank, safety clutch and ball bearing etc. which shall be encapsulated in weather proof oil filled chamber for maintenance free and long lasting performance. The operation of the drive unit shall be silent and maintenance free. In case of power failure both manula as well as battery back up operation shall be available. (b) Electric Motor : Motor shall be 24 Volts DC, 900 rpm, 1/4 HP, 40 watt, maintenance free, reversible motor, designed for heavy duty operation. The motor shall be able to provided dual speed so that optimum time for opening and closing with soft landing, opening and closing time (2-15 seconds) can be adjusted at the sitting during installation depending on traffic frequency and boom length. (c) Control Panel : The electronic control panel shall control the direction and speed of the boom movement and shall be capable of accepting optional safety devices such as beam sensor, magnetic card reader, loop detector etc. The control panel shall be fixed in guard room or inside the barrier box as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

(d) Push Button : A piano type push button shall be provided in the guard room. The barrier shall be activated by touching the push button for a second, thus keeping the guard free to pay more attention to security checks. (e) Remote Control : Suitable arrangement shall be made to activate the barrier by remote control from a distance upto 100 feet depending upon the local environment conditions.
