Item No.01. Removing the existing filter media sand & supporting gravel from the filter bed i.e.any lead & lifts i.e. screening the gravel with approriate mesh sieve & stacking the media & travel as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Item No.02. Cleaning & washing of existing v-wire Laterals by using specialised acidic and alkaline chemicals to remove Scale,Sludge and other sedimental particals from lateral surface. including all material chemicals,labour etc.

Item No.03. Providing and casting in situ C.C. of trap / granite/ quartzite / gneiss metal of approved quality for RCC works as per detailed drawings and designs or as directed by Engineer-in-charge including normal dewatering, centering, form work, compaction, finishing the formed surfaces with C.M. 1:3 of sufficient minimum thickness to give a smooth and even surface wherever necessary or roughening if special finish is to be provided and curing, etc. complete. (By weigh batching and mix design for M-250 and M-300 only. Use of L&T, A.C.C., Ambuja, Birla Gold, Manikgad, Rajashree, etc. cement is permitted.) Item No.04. Providing and fixing in position steel bar reinforcement of various diameters for RCC piles, caps, footings, foundations, slabs, beams, columns, canopies, staircases, newels, chajjas, lintels, pardies, copings, fins, arches, etc. as per detailed designs, drawings and schedules; including cutting, bending, hooking the bars, binding with wires or tack welding and supporting as required, etc. complete (including cost of binding wire). Item No.05. Supply of Filter media fine quality sand from any source having effective size 0.45 to 0.70 and uniformity coefficient within the limit of 1.3 to 1.7 within premises as per IS:8419 Part-I of 1977 including transpotation, loading, unloading, stacking and for all leads.

Item No.06. Conveying of filter media sand from godown / store to filter box & laying properly in filter beds.

Item No.07. Filling the new fine sand in the filter beds properly in grades and layers as required including all labour and tools & plants etc complete.

Item No.08. Providing and applying well mixed polymer cement slurry in ratio 1:2 over well soaked but surface dry concrete and steel rebar for adhesion of fresh cement and sand mortar as per specification as directed etc. complete. (item includes use of polymers like sikaapproved or similar materials of relevant specification and scaffolding for height 8 to 10 meter)

Item No.09. "Providing applying repair polymer mortar of thickness as per sitecondition and in a mixof 1:5:15 (1Polymer :5 cement :15 sand) over freshly applied polymer cement slurry including keeping upto 8 to 10 mm short of outer surfaces and scarifying the exposed surface formechanical bonding of polymer modified mortar as per specification complete including scaffolding curing etc. (IPTS MC 76 /Indobond AC)"
