Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval

The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent

Formation levels and other data furnished are bare minimum the contractor should make all efforts to validate and to get additional data if required at his own cost

All precautions should be taken by the contractor so that there are no damages to such public/ private properties

Contractor should take all precautionary measures to avoid any damage to the utilities during excavation as well as utility shifting. To that extent the contractor should indemnify the client

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act

Further particulars if any required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer PWD Sedam Division during office hours on all working days Sedam

The contractor who participates in tenders for more than one work for which tenders are invited in this IFT, the tenderer must fulfill all the conditions and criteria cumulatively for the participated works

The work should be Completed Within 03 (Three) Months (including Monsoon)

In order to ensure higher tender capacity and better selection of eligible contractors and also to ensure more competition the existing multiplying factor of 2.50 for assessing the available tender capacity may be modified to 5

Security deposit for an amount equivalent to 5% of the contract price shall be deducted in every running bill. However, in case of first and final bill the entire..security deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

The contractor who bid under reservation works (SC&ST) should submit the cast certificate as per the rules of Govt of Karnataka No: FD 876 Exp-12/2017, Bengaluru, Dated : 10-10-2017

the contractor belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes shall be domicile of the state of Karnataka for more than 10 years (Suitable document to be uploaded) as per the rules of Govt of Karnataka No: FD 876 Exp-12/2017, Bengaluru, Dated : 10-10-2017

After the award of the contract, the contractor has to furnish the details in respect of labour employed and the EPF details for this work in every RA bill

Financial turover of previous years shall be given a weight of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2022-23 in the Technical Qualification Criteria mentioned in the next section.

GST of 18% shall be paid to the tendered amount separately

GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for the delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer in his name should have in the last five years period 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 (a) achieved in at least one financial year a minimum annual financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) (usually not less than the estimated costs under this contract) and (Annual Turnover Certificate Must be with the UDIN No Other Wise Turnover is not Considered )

EMD of Rs. 9000/- is to be paid in full through e-payment

If the bidder quoted rates less than the estimate/ tendered rates, he has to remit the difference amount in the form of DD/FDR (drawn in favour of (Executive Engineer, PWD Division, Sedam) only, duly uploading the scanned copy of the same in the e-portal at the time of submitting the bid. The original shall be submitted to this office at the time of opening of the bid. Failing which the bid will be liable for rejection (DD Only National Banks)
