Serial Item No 1: Material and labour for borehole by DTH/Rotary drilling method for borewell of 350 mm dia bore upto a depth of 100 m from ground level in any type of soil/hard rock/soft rock complete at the location approved by GE ( as per CGWB directions ) and disposal of waste material complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Serial Item No 2: All as per item No 01 here-in-before but depth from 100 m to 200 m below ground level
Serial Item No 3: All as per item No 01 here-in-before but depth from 200 m to 400 m below ground level NOTE:- (a) Quantity under column 03 from Serial Item No 01 to 03 have been account for three (03) nos bores. (b) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included for transportation of suitable truck mounted drilling with DTH & ODEX attachment alongwith necessary accessories and T&P and site clearance for setting of machinery ,data collected from electrical logging etc. Nothing extra is payble on this account. (c) Contractor should take into cognizance the conditions as stipulated here-in-above while quoting the rates. (d) The bore well should be reamed uniformly for 14 (Fourteen) inches dia upto design depth. (e) Fresh water aquifers effective cement sealing of suitable thickness should be done against impervious clay zone which is to be ascertained by using the geo- electrical log and report should be submitted to GE. (f) The rates quoted by the conractor for Serial Iem No 3 shall also be applicable for drilling beyond 300m depth.
Serial Item No 4: Supplying, assembling, lowering and levelling 200 mm nominal bore UPVC ASTM SCH 120 ISI marked casing blank pipe having wall thickness as per ASTM and jointing with proper Cement sealing as per IS in random pipe length of 3 or 6 m , including necessary fitting i.e. upto depth of 30 m from below ground level complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Serial Item No 5: Supplying, assembling, lowering and levelling 150 mm nominal bore UPVC ASTM SCH 80 ISI marked casing blank pipe having wall thickness as per ASTM and jointing with Cement sealing in random length of 3 or 6 m, including necessary fitting i.e. from depth of 30 m to 400 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Serial Item No 6: Supplying, assembling, lowering 150 mm nominal bore UPVC ASTM Sch 80 ISI marked slotted pipe conforming to IS-4270-1992 with slot of suitable size and numbers as per location of intermediate aquifers including jointing with necessary Filter pack as per IS in random length of filter , including necessary fittings complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Serial Item No 7: Supply and packing 'P' (Pea) gravels of size 2 mm to 10 mm and cement sand grout in annular space upto entire depth of bore hole upto ground level to prevent annulus inter mixing of aquifers and saline water as per IS 8110:2000 completed all as per directed . (Qty of pea gravel used shall be entered in the MB.
Serial Item No 8: Material and Labour for Foundation of size 100 cm x 100 cm x 100 cm at ground level for holding tubewell made of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge (including necessary Earth work, excavation, returning filling, removal and form work etc. )
Serial Item No 9: Material and Labour for GI pipe medium grade 80mm ISI marked flanged type for holding the pumps etc. includings all fittings like nuts bolts, Gasket , Elbow etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 10: Supply, installation, levelling, testing and commissioning of submersible pumping set with outer dia of pump not exceeding 200mm having capacity 5 HP , 3 phase , 440 volts , minimum 36 m head complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 11: Material and Labour for development of borewell by means of compressor and after pumping by pump 25% extra capacity, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 12: Yield test for the borewell by continuously pumping to determine safe pumping yield complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Serial Item No 13: Supply and fixing in position mild steel cap made of MS plate 8 mm thick with an internal threading and locking arrangement having opening for column pipe and submersible cable, for housing pipe of 200mm/150 dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
Serial Item No 15: Supply and Fixing PVC reducer (8 inch to 6 inch ) , for 03 nos of borewell complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 16: Supply and Fixing bail plug for 03 nos ( min 3 mts long) of borewell complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 17: Material and Labour for MS work using MS flat,angle,joint and MS strip, nuts bolts with washer, chain pulley tripod for centring etc including bending, drilling, welding etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 18: Supply, installation, and commissioning of fully automatic Iron removal plant Capacity not less than 20,000 ltrs/hr complete with Back washing facility with all filter ,catalytic media ,air compressor and iron filter pumps etc with specifications given below and all vessel painted inside and outside with 2 coat of Anti corrosive bituminous and two coat of synthetic enamel over one coat of red oxide of all MS part as per suitable for ambient condition at paradeep with following technical specification:-

3) Dual Media Filter. (a) VESSEL- Size-1500 mm dia x 1500 mm & Height - 1800 mm -01 no -Shell thickness not less than 8mm, -Dish thickness not less than 10mm, -Strainer plate thickness not less than 10mm, -Confirming IS 2062 and of IS 2825 b) Strainer- As per design approved by GE of material PVC. (iii) the control cable of electrical connection between Pump and panel(FPB) (iv) Two Year warranty with monthly test result of (iron content/PH value/choride /TDS etc) to confirm servicebility of plant ,which is to be submitted to GE duly signed by AGE/JE
Serial Item No 19: Material and Labour for construction of brick masonary valve pit of size 100 cmx100 cmx90 cm (internal dimension), foundation with 150mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2, brick work shall be full brick thick wall in CM (1:4), 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) internally, external upto 15 cm below from GL complete with MS angle iron frame work angle size 40x40x6mm fixed on top of valve pit by means of hold fast 150mm long embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of size 230mmx200mmx100mm, 3mm thick MS sheet top cover openable through hinges 02 Nos, handle and locking arrangement, painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed surfaces and two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of primer inside, including earthwork in excavation, returning/filling and removal complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 20: Supply and fixing 100mm bore ductile Iron , including specials, Class “K-9” ,100 mm (4”) dia both end screwed flanged , 3 m long, fitted with flanges at both ends made out of heavy grade pipes [ ISI marked] with bolts , nuts, gaskets etc. as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 21: Supply and Fixing Strainer Y type conforming to IS, supplied and installed complete of size 100 mm dia as directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 22: Supply and fix cast iron sluice valve IS marked (ISI marked : IS-14846-2000) long body type, class PN 1.6 of size 100 mm bore, both ends flanged with brass spindle with holes including provision of carbon steel nuts, bolts & washers, rubber gaskets etc, with cast iron operating wheel, fixed to water mains, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 23: Supply and fix Mild steel wire rope with dia of links 12mm un galvanised stranded with `D' clamps shackle type for holding the motor and pump with `U' clamp complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 24: Supply and fix cast iron non return valve conforming to IS (ISI marked : IS-14846-2000) long body type, class PN 1.6 of size 100 mm bore, both ends flanged with brass spindle with holes including provision of carbon steel nuts, bolts & washers, rubber gaskets etc, with cast iron operating wheel, fixed to water mains, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 25: Supply and fixing of Specials for centrifugal cast (SPUN) ductile iron up to 100 mm such as bends ( any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc. Tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction , double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot collars, caps and plugs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 26: Material and Labour for providing PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates for foundation all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 27: Material and Labour for 40 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates as in floor finishes and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.
Serial Item No 28: Supply & Fix for 25 mm unplasticized PVC pipes of pressure rating 10 kgf/cm2 for lowering in borewell all as specifed and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 29: Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 30: Returning and filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer n.exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 31: Removing excavated material to a distance not exc. 50 mtrs and deposting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 m above the starting point all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 32: Supply & Fixing of Submersible cable 3 core, 10 sqmm, PVC sheathed 1100V grade with copper conductor including making connections and fixing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 33: Supply and laying of cable XLPE Insulated screened , PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) , 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 4 core 25.0 sqmm all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 34: Supply and laying of natural river sand as Sand cushioning for protection of cables (below, above and around the cable laid in trenches) complete using clean, dry sand complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Punned down thickness of sand cushioning shall be measured as 18 cm for payment purpose.
Serial Item No 35: Material and Labour for Sub class 'B' bricks laid flat dry in trenches over cable, perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Serial Item No 36: Material and labour for cutting Road/ PCC /Drain, for laying LT UG cable and making good the disturbed surfaces with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 by using 20mm graded stone aggregate to match with adjoining surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 37: Supply and Fixing of 50 mm dia GI pipe light grade ISI marked laid in trenches, fixed to poles, laid through wall across road etc. for protection of XLPE cable / submersible cable all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Serial Item No 40: M&L Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode, 60cmx60cmx 6.3mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 meters below normal ground level, connected to earth strip 32x6mm earth lead and GI pipe 15mm ,medium grade for earthing lead protection to the extent of maximum 7.5 m connected to the plate by means of GI Bolts and nuts complete all as per electrical plate no.3 of SSR part 1 , connected to Panel /DB including testing on completion including main earting , charcoal ,common salt , PCC (1:2:4 type B1) pit with RCC cover ,MS frame made with 40x40x6 mm Angle iron Funnel with 20mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe wire mesh , earth work excavation etc complete all as specified and as directed.
Serial Item No 41: Earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 6.3 mm thick burried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level ] with top edge of plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level connected to 4 mm GI Wire [Earth Lead] and GI pipe 15 mm, Medium Grade for earthing lead protection to the extent of maximum 7.5m connected to the plate by means of GI Bolts & Nuts complete all as per Electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part - I, connected to panel / DB including testing on completion including main earthing, Charcoal, Common Salt, PCC [1:2:4, Type B1] Pit with RCC Cover, MS frame made with 40 X 40 X 6 mm Angle Iron, MS Funnel with 20 mm bore, medium grade GI Watering pipe, wire mesh, earth work excavation etc complete all as specified and as directed.
Serial Item No 42: Supply & Fixing of 4 sqmm single core PVC insulated copper conductor including connection between earthing cable to submersible Pump complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
