SPECIAL REPAIR TO RESIDENTIAL BUILDING UNDER MAINTENANCE BOOTH SECTOR-16, CHANDIGARH. (MONSOON SEASON FOR ALL HOUSES)

Regrading terracing of mud phaska covered with tiles or brick, in cement mortar by dismantling tiles or bricks, removing mud plaster, preparing the surface of mud phaska to proper slope, relaying mud plaster gobri leaping and tiles or bricks, grouted in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand), including replacing unserviceable tiles or bricks with new ones and disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground (the cost of the new tiles or brick excluded), all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply of new brick tiles 9" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Raking out joints in lime or cement mortar and preparing the surface for re-pointing or replastering, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Flush pointing with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% of integral water proofing compound by weight of cement for flat tile bricks on top of mud phaska : With F.P.S. brick tiles

Scrapping / dismantling of exisitng APP/ Tarfelt using suitable means, including the charges of disposal of the malba to the designated malba dumping ground in city, complete in all repsects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.

Repairing old APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) membrane by scraping the loose or unsealed portion thereafter cleaning the surface from sand or mud thorouhly. Thereafter the APP membrane will be relaid on the surface with Butane Torch and sealing all the loose joints complete in all rspect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in situ five course water proofing treatment with APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified Polymeric memberane over roof consisting of first coat of bitumen primer @ 0.40 litre per sqm, 2nd & 4th courses of bonding material @ 1.20 kg/sqm, which shall consist of blown type bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS : 702, 3rd layer of roofing membrane APP modified Polymeric membrane 2.0 mm thick of 3.00 Kg/ sqm weight consisting of five layers prefabricated with centre core as 100 micron HMHDPE film sandwiched on both sides with polymeric mix and the polymeric mix is protected on both side with 20 micron HMHDPE film. 5th, the top most layer shall be finished with brick tiles of class designation 10 grouted with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound by weight of cement over a 12 mm layer of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) and finished neat (item of laying brick tiles shall be paid for separately).

Providing water proofing treatment by laying one coat of cement adhesive Tapecrete mixed with cement in ratio 1:2 (One part of tapecrete : 2 part of cement) complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying water proofing coating having three coats of rain jackets @ 15 sft/Kg over a priming coat of water proofing paint @ 10 sft/Kg including fibre mesh of size 800 microns with total thickness of 900 to 1000 microns forming high elastic and resillent coating with resistant to UV rays and non toxic in nature with minimum life of 10 yrs life complete in all respect and entire sayisfaction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in two coats @7.52 litre/ 10 sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and one coat of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
