REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO CERTAIN ROADS UNDER AOR CE DELHI ZONE, DELHI CANTT-10

Amount

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm, exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100 mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates (granite, trap or basalt stone aggregate) of grading 2 (63 to 45mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) DAC/BM will be measured and paid separatly. (b) Pot holes shall be filled up to existig level of road.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness not exc 50 mm thick ) binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen using VG-30 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of WBM top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bages to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm on WBM surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 5.00 Kg per 10 Sqm on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen VG 30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, spread by means of self propelled mechanical spreader/paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using Tandem vibratory steel wheel, Static steel wheel rollers & pneumatic tyre roller complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 9 above but 30mm consolidated thickness ditto.

Note for item No 9 & 10 above :- (i) In design mix criteria if bituminous binder required more than 5.5% nothing extra shall be admisible in quoted rates. (ii) If bituminuos binder quantity less than 5.5% than Rs 40.00 Per Kg shall be deducted from quoted rates. (iii) Quoted rates shall be inclusive of above provisions and bidder should consider this aspects while quoting the rates and no claim on this account will be entertained at later stage.

S&F in repair of road STUD (CAT Eyes) of size 100 x 100 x 20mm made of polycarbonate with electronically welded prismatic retro- reflective lens panel of approved colour on both side for maximum retro- reflection in wet and dry condition, non breakable,dust proof type, fixed with epoxy chemical, nails, screws & clamps complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair of solar road stud of size 125 x 125 x 25mm, madeout of toughened aluminium alloy body with polycabonate top cover, IP 65 protection against water ingress, having 03 No super bright LED on each side, coloured reflective LED cover, in built rechargeable battery, solar panel, visibility upto 800 mtr, automaticaly turns on at night and turns off at dawn, flashing for min 3 days once fully charge, suitable for nigh & adverse weather condition and fixed with epoxy chemical, cement and hardner , complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Refelective convex mirror of dia 800 mm and mounted over mild steel pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) and 2.5 mtr long including excavation & removal of post holes of size 400x400x600mm depth PCC 1:3:6 typeC-2 and remove surplus soil from the site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying 2mm to 2.5 mm thick road marking strips/ line/dashes/ arrows/letters (retro-reflective ) of specified shade/colour using hot thermosplatic material by fully/semi-automatic chemoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profiles shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of materials, labour etc on new/old road surface, including T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Moorum/red bajri filling in roads berms etc, laid in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed using vibrating plates or electric hand operated rammer including watering etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note : morrum/red bajri required for filling shall be brought from out side of MoD land.

S&F speed breaker/ bumps made of ABS of high resistance to resist severe impacts and harsh weather conditions of size 350x250x50 mm yellow & black in color fixed / studded with reflectors on either side clearly visible during night hours including al necessary fixing/ fixtures/fittings arrangements complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and in paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Dismanteling of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness laid dry as in floor and road side berm etc. complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base, mass concrete complete all as specified and dirceted.

M&L for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking tiles any colour of 80mm thick, M-40 grade of any shape and size, conforming to IS-15658-2006 glossy finish as in floor/pavement laid on 50mm thick stone dust cushioning, laid dry to the profile over rammed earth/murrum filling complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No. 20 above but except tiles ditto.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in bencing and coping, apex stone etc. complete all as specified and directed..

S&F in repair for factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade precast cement concrete/ stone laid in position to the required line,level and curvature, jointed with cement mortor 1:3 including making the joint with or without grooves including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment (ii) precast CC kerb shall be approved by the Engineer-in- charge.

M&L for painting of two coats synthetic enemal paint over kerb stone in white/yellow/black shades including priming coat and cleaning/preparation of the surface laid as per design approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with industrial grade 85/25 bitumen for mix min 14% by weight of total mix and VG 10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm as tack coat and all meeting the requirment of IRC-107 of 2013 for surface preparation, tack coat, laying of mix joints & grafting of chips etc laid to required camber & gradient complete all as specified and directed.
