PROPOSED RESTORATION, CONSERVATION And DEVELOPMENT WORK FOR GAUTAM TALAB, TRIMBAKESHWAR, NASHIK

Removal of plants / ficus grown by pulling out root system embedded in masnory, cutting stem and application of high/gur/lime formulation as specified by the Architect or other patented chemical biocide treatment such as biocide 'Glycel' (iso proplamine salt of glyphosate) or other chemical as specified by the Engineer in charge etc. complete.

Removing grass, gazer grass and disposing off out of building premises including making clean the ground by shovel and phavaras etc. complete

Dewatering on BHP basis by using water pump including diversion of stream,providing cofferdams,earthern bunds etc.as may be necessary for foundation and other parts of the works and pumping out water during and after excavation as may be required by using 3.0BHP pump etc. complete. (prior approval of Superintending Engineer will be necessary)

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.

Excavation for foundation in earth, soil of all types, sand, gravel and soft murum, including removing the excavated material up to a distance of 50 m.beyond the building area & stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary backfilling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift upto 0.00 to 1.50 m.) By Manual Means

Excavation for foundation in hard murum including removing the excavated material upto distance of 50 metres beyond the building area and stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary back filling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete.complete. (Lift from 1.5 to 3.0 m) By Manual Means

Providing Soil Bag Support to the monument with excavated soil in proper layers carefully as directed by Engineer in-charge including filling, tying and conveying the bags, removing the soil bags after work up to a distance of 50 meter beyond the monument area and cleaning the site etc. complete. A) While lowering the Members

Dismantling stone masonry in lime or cement mortar including stacking the materils as directed with all leads, lifts etc.

Providing Un-coursed Rubble Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½, in foundation and plinth as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones to be set in the work as received from the quarry, after merely knocking off weak corners and edges with the masons hammer, the stones shall be carefully laid so as to break joints, no joint shall exceed 12.5 mm. (½″) in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80 sq. mete (1 square yard), the joints shall be racked out carefully at least 25 mm. (1″) where pointing or plastering to be done, striking joints where no pointing or plastering is to be done, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, bailing out water, watering and all exposed masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete..

Providing Ashlar Fine Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1 with average size of stone 90 cm. x60 cm. x21.5cm. in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, dressing every stones fine tooled on all beds, joints and faces, full true if the surface are plane or to uniform curves or twists if required, the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), the stone shall be laid in regular course not less than 30 cm. (12″) in height averaging 4½ c. ft., the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.For Top coping of tank wall

Providing Ashlar Fine Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1 with average size of stone 70 cm. x70 cm. x30cm. in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, dressing every stones fine tooled on all beds, joints and faces, full true if the surface are plane or to uniform curves or twists if required, the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), the stone shall be laid in regular course not less than 30 cm. (12″) in height averaging 4½ c. ft., the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.For side wall of tank & 2 shrines

Providing soling using 80 mm size trap metal in 15 cm. layer including filling voids with Crushed sand/grit, ramming, watering etc. complete.

Providing and laying cast in situ 1:2:4 Lime Concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for foundation and bedding as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including bailing out water, centring, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate in drum mixer as per specifications including bailing out water, watering etc. complete. For Plum Concrete. (30% Rubble Supply)

Providing Lime Pointing to stone work in lime mortar 1:1 in plinth, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all face or visible work shall be pointed, unless otherwise specified and shall be done while the mortar is fresh, the mortar shall consists of lime and fine sand shall not be ground fine but sand should be finer, the joints of the pointed work shall be neatly defined by the pointing, the lines shall be regular and uniform in breadth and the joints shall be raised or flat as may directed, preparing the lime mortar with 640 gram pulp of wood apple (Belfruit) per cubic metre of lime mortar as a bonding material, watering and all work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete

Disposing off / conveying the dismantelled materials of stone masonry / brick masonry/ concrete/ debris/ excavated material / soil murrum / rubbish material or vegetation / grass / shrubs etc. from site to 5 Km as directed by Engineer incharge
