Note :- For item No.1, 2 and 3 Above : (i) Air conditioner shall be initial filled/charged with refrigerant as per OEM specified recomendation quantity. (ii) Suitable piping shall be provided of adequate length of size 5/8" for draining of condensate water from indoor unit. (iii) AC unit to be supplied with cordless remote control for operation. (iv) The condenser unit shall be copper tube with hydrphillic coating for better protection of condenser from corrosion. (v) The refrigerant to be used shall be R 32 (Non CFC compliance) as per latest technology. (vi) The AC unit shall be latest model having valid 3 Star BEE rating as on date of installation. (vii) Contractor shall submit the brochure of AC with detail technical specification and take approval of GE before procurement. (viii) Contractor shall submit the Purchase voucher, Test certificate and warrranty certificate of AC. Contractor shall obtain the Warranty certificate from manufacture and to be submitted to department. (ix) All the necessary accessories and T&P required on site for installation of indoor and out door unit of split AC and window AC shall be provided by contractor. (x) Installation of AC shall be carried out through OEM. (xi) Compresssor of unit shall be of min 5 yrs manufacture warranty and product warranty should be not less than two year. Contractor shall submit the warranty cetrificate to department. (xii) Power supply electric cable to be provided with 15 Amp metal clad Pin top and to connect with source of supply by the contractor without any cost.

Note : For item No.1 and 2 above (i) Additional refrigerant pipes with and including filling of additional quantity of refrigerant as required on site under guidance of OEM from outer unit to indoor unit beyond as supplied by OEM up to 10 mtrs is deemed to be included in unit rate. (ii) All civil work for drilling the hole in wall of any thickness on site for laying the refrigerant pipe line, and electrical cable from out door unit to indoor unit of AC and to making good to match the surface as existing to be done by contractor with out any extra cost.

General Note : For item No. 1 to 11 above : Contractor shall submit warranty certifificate and Purchase voucher before claiming the RAR/FB.

M&L for Advance encapsulated compound based Chemical earthing CPRI tesed maintenance free , pipein -pipe technology upgraded (Zinc & Alloy coated). , Zinc & Alloy coated (80 -100) microns with pure zinc (99.9%) & Alloy coating (200-250) microns. Earthing system conforming IS 3043. The outer and inner pipe should be 76.2 mm and 38.10 mm dia respectively of 3 mtrs long zinc coated with additional special alloy coating 300 mm on top side for additional protection of the terminal . The annular space between the pipes to be filled up with Compact fill (CF) (Crystalline Conductive) mixture which should be machine pressed in the pipes not disintegrate or collapse when outer pipe corrodes . The inner pipe should be extended with terminals for connectivity.The job includes digging the pits in any type of hard dense soil of min size 1000 X 1000 X 3050 mm depth taking out excavated soil, lowering/ placing the the pipe in pipe earth electrode in pit in center ,filling of pure conductolite back filling compound (BFC Conductolite ) having excellent moisture retaining capacity in 300 mm around the electrode (minimum 4 bags of 25 KG per pit per unit) or more qty of backfill compound as required to fill around the the elctrode in 300 mm in circumfrance of electrode . Contractor has to fill the remaining portion of pit with low resistivity soil (agriculture soil) free from stones etcs, to be bring from out side defence land as the soil resistivity of Stn is very high and mixed with min 6 Bags of 50 Kg each of Bantonide clay. The BFC should be eco friendly it should not contain envernmently hazardous material/metal having ROHS certification from NABL accredited lab.The earth pit should be provided with a FRP earth pit cover for protection and safe guard of terminals. The material of earth electrode should have good electrical conductivity & anti corrosion property in wide range of soil conditions. The job also include M & L for in PCC(1:3:6) type C-1 around the FRP cover for support and foundation and colouring the PCC work with desired colour.complete all as specified and directed. (iii) The earth electrode shall be CPRI tested to withstand short current test for 60kA rms for 1.0 second and 150kA for peak current. (iv) Contarctor has to fill pure back fill compound conductolite all around the earth electrode in 300 mm bore up to full depth of bore. (v) Contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside of defence land and fill in earth pit mixed with Bentonide (Minimum 6 bags of 50 Kg each or more if required ) to achieve desired result i.e less than one ohm are deemed to be included (vi) copper strip will be laid below 60 cm from ground level and connected to test point through plinth protection (vii) Necessary cost of repair to plint protection as per existing specification and connected plate and earth continuity conductor by providing 2 x brass nuts bolts and brazing joints, brining agriculture soil from outside defence land and cost of 6 bag of bentonide (Each bag of 50 Kg or more) o achieve desired result i.e less than one ohm are deemed to be included. (viii) Contractor has to clear the side and disposed off the excavated soil from pit on completion of work.

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulator ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable for mounting strip of 20 mm wide x 3 min thick) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. and joints to be connected by providing brass nut bolts and washer including all brass fittings all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : (i) Insulator to be provided on every 50 cm length of copper strip. (ii) Item includs cost of brass nut bolts and procelain insulators and insulator fixing steel screw . No additional payment will be paid to the contractor on account of this.

M & L for fabrication of display board for earth pit nos, lacation and periodical test results for power circuit earthing, Equipment earthing, signal earthing and LA earthing made of MS sheet 3.0 mm thick sheet, as per required shape, welding on 25 x 25 x 4 mm angle iron of 600 mm height to be fixed in ground with angle iron burried 300 mm below GL by providing PCC 1:2:4 of size 20 cm X 20 cm X 20 cm (below ground level) grade aggregate foundation . Dimention of board shall be 30 cm X 25 cm. or any other dimention not more than 0.075 sq mtr of MS Board The instruction shall be written black painted board in white letters not less than 2 " size for all type of boards complete all as specified and dierected by the Engineer -in-charge. M&L for Conducting Soil Resistivity Test of soil strata of Five different pockets located in Technical / Domestic area of Stn, Assesment of existing earth pits health , Assesment of existing earthing system and subsequent designing the earthing system base on soil resitivity and submission of report with suggestion along with BOQ to attend the disered resistance as per requirement. Test of Soil resistivity to be carried out and earthing to be designed as Per IS 3043, Indian Standard Code of Practice for Earthing, IEEE 81: 1983, IEEE Guide for measuring Earth resistivity , Ground Impedence and Earth surface potentials of a ground system. Note : (i) All T&P and testing equipments shall be arranged by contractor. (ii) Testing to be carry out through qualified engineer of reputed agency dealing in Earthing / grounding system and Earthing enhancement system with minimum 10 year exprience in earthing field. (iii) Detail test report of soil resistivity with design of earthing system as per desired resistance value i.e is less of 1 ohms , upto 2 ohms and upto 5 ohms duly vetted by Govt Engineering collage / Lab to submitted by the contractor before claiming the payment to be submitted by the contractor along with RAR/FB. (iv) Contractor shall submit the following details in soil resistivity report. :- (a) introduction, (b) Reference Standards, (c) Executive Summary, (d) Soil Resistivity measurement test and methodology, (e) Soil Resistivity measurement, (f) Summary (g) Soil Resistivity Graph, (h) Earthing Calculation Data Sheets Showing : - (i) Currect density at the surface of electrode /conductor (ii) Fault current dissipation by grid conductor (iii) Calculation of earth grid resistance (iv) No. of earthing required to achieve resistance below one ohm, upto 2 ohms and upto 3 ohms. (v) Earthing Design details.

Supply, laying and fixing GI tubing light grade of 100 mm dia, , ISI marked with all fittings and fixed on wall / floor by providing MS flat clamps flat complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Note: GI pipe has to fix properly and clamps to be provided for holding the pipe.

Supply and fixing GI junction / sunkun box of size 9 inchs x 7 inchs flush in wall and make good of surface as existing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fixing Hylam sheet of 3 mm thick on GI junction / sunkun box of size 9 inchs x 7 inchs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M & L Sub main wiring (Single Phase + Neutral ) with 2 x runs of 4 Sqmm multi stranded copper conductor 1100 V grade, ISI marked , PVC insulated unsheathed cable (with approved colour code) FRLSH cable drawn in existing racway in floor and in PVC conduit 25 mm dia , ISI marked medium grade with all acessories on wall up to DB including PVC 4.0 Sqmm multi stranded insulated unsheathed copper wire, ISI marked of green colour for continous earth and fixied to modular switch socket in pop up box fixed in floor compete as as specified and directed by EIC. Note: (i) Copper wire FRLSH of 2 x 4.00 sqmm + 1 x 4.0 Sqmm earth wire and conduit on wall is measured as one unit length)

General Note : The above work is releated to confrence hall of HQ Bldg which state of art, laying of raceway on floor , on walls and fixing of DLP-S trunking shall be carried through expert trademens/OEM having work experience min 10 years similar these type of specialised job. Contractor has to re-do the work if user are not satisfy and due to poor workmanship.
