Excavation in earth work in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side,water pollution, etcetra and to protect stability of hill side track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). all earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shallbe carried,out true tolines,grades,side slopes, width, camber super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge,in conformit with the requirement of MORD technical specification 2014 (two thousand fourteen) for Rural Road. clause 300, 1603 (three hundred, one thousand six hundred three) of General conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal to the proposed dumping site and dumping site to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer -in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not, for 6702.45 cum (Six thousand seven hundred two point fouty five cubic meter) in all cases, @ rupees 300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro-rata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall compensated by him in all cases.The rates are including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tal, sale tax, or other taxes imposed by the government but excluding GST . including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Providing and laying boulder apron laid in wire crates made with 4mm (four milimeter)dia GI (galvanized iron) wire confirming to IS:4826 (indian standard: four thousand eight hundread twenty six )in 100mmX100mm (one hundred into one hundered millimeter mesh (weaved diagonally) including 10%(ten percent)extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg(twenty five kilogram).
