Scarifying gravelled macadam or bitumious macadam surface (by power). (a) Not exceeding 40 mm in depth.

Providing laying and compacting granular base/sub-base according to lines, grades and cross- sections by using naturally accuring sand gravel/conforming to IRC Grade2 of MOST specification free from organic or other deleterious constituents compact by rolling with power roller of 8 to 10 tonnes capacity in layers not exceeding 150mm (spread thickness) including rolling of the road surface to proper level & grade 30cm width edging on both sides etc, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(with carriage charge of all materials)

Providing and laying one layer W.B.M. 7.5 cm consolidated thickness using 1.00 cum of stone aggt conforming to IRC Grades per 10 sqm of road surface and 0.23 cum of binder materials of approved quality per 10 sqm of road surface including consolidation of the same, rolling of the surface to camber, super elevation and grade by using template, straight edges and spirit level in layers not exceeding 100 mm to 130 mm thick (spread thickness), dry and wet rolling with 8 to 10 tonne roller including earth edging 30 cm width on both sides and applying binding materials as specified (with carriage charge of all materials) i) IRC Gr-II

ii) IRC Gr-III

2cm consolidated thick single coat pre-mix carpet surfacing with 0.27 cum stone chipping 12.5 mm size 0.18 cum and 10 mm size 0.09 cum mix with 14.6 kg of binder per 10.00 sqm of road surface and rolling complete including a seal coat of IRC type "B" with 0.06 cum of fine aggregate and 6.8 kg of bitumen 80/100 per 10.00 sqm of road surface.2) providing and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bitumen 80/100 a)10kg/10sqm.
