Earth work excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulicexcavator) /manual means in all types of soil other than soft and hard rock, dressing the sides of foundation, ramming of bottom etc. including shoring and dewatering (if necessary) and disposing the surplus earth within a distance of 200 m all as per specifications including clearing Jungle, uprooting of vegetation, grass ,etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Extra over item 1.1 initial depth for every additional Depth of 1.50 m or part thereof in all kinds of soil

Earth work excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation, in Soft Rock including shoring, dewatering if necessary, dressing the sides, ramming the bottom, disposal of surplus excavated material within a lead of 200 m complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

From 0.00 to 1.50 m depth from Average Ground Level

Extra over item 2.1 initial depth for every additional Depth of 1.50 m or part thereof in soft rock

Lead charges by mechanical transport including loading unloading, stacking / levelling etc.

Supplying, Stacking and Laying of 230 mm Thick Soling stones under Floor base including packing with smaller stone and compacting with Hand roller / Floor compactor including spreading and consolidation of blinding material, moorum etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Murrum Filling under floors of specified thick in layers of not more than 150 mm thickness including supplying required materials and consolidation etc. complete (Murrum to be brought from out side campus of BARC)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 100% manufactured sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork, shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement complete. Up to Grade Slab level

Providing and laying in position design mix reinforced cement concrete of M-30 grade manufactured in fully automatic batching plant for all RCC Works for levels as mentioned below, using graded stone aggregates of maximum 20mm nominal size & manufactured sand and river sand as per approved mix design conforming to latest IS : 383 with silt content not exceeding 8% by volume including admixture of approved brand and quality (plasticisers / super plasticisers), weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transportation, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing, roughning and hacking expose concrete superfaces for plastering, grinding over concrete spills / level difference in joints of concrete etc. complete as per technical specification but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering & reinforcement complete as per specification.

Upto Grade Slab Level

Add (rate in positive) or deduct (rate in negative) over item 7 for providing following grades of concrete for any item of work instead of M-30 Grade concrete.

In M-45 Grade

Extra for concrete Using Ready Mix Concrete from outside Project area including transporting and placing in position from approved Batching plants .

Providing & fixing in position, centering and shuttering, formwork (upto first floor level from the founding level) to get a neat form finished surface for all types of structures including strutting, scaffolding, staging, propping, bracing or otherwise supporting formwork for concrete items as indicated and deshuttering on specified duration after concreting with all leads and lifts; the formwork shall provide all necessary shapes, sizes, joints and any other details as per approved shop drawings, technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note (Applicable for shuttering works): (1) The rates for the above items shall include for providing all necessary holes, cutouts, slits and depressions, labour for fixing adequate pipe sleeves at all indicated locations etc. in formwork as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The formwork / shuttering for providing construction joints in concrete shall not be measured seperately and the contractor to include it in his quoted rate. (2) The shuttering (plywood panels / sheets) shall be so laid that the joints in both the directions are in one line, the pattern for which will be got approved. (3) The centering and shuttering, formwork shall be designed & submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge for approval prior to commencement of work. Form work shall be properly designed for self weight, weight of reinforcement, weight of fresh concrete, and in addition, the various live loads likely to be imposed during the construction process (such as workmen, materials and equipment). (4) Shuttering used shall be of sufficient stiffness to avoid excessive deflection and joints shall be tightly butted to avoid leakage of slurry. If required, rubberized lining of material as approved by the Engineer-in-charge shall be provided in the joints. Steel shuttering used for concreting should be sufficiently stiffened. The steel shuttering should also be treated with mould oil prior to erection, properly repaired before use, properly cleaned to avoid stains, honey combing, seepage of slurry through joints etc. The form work shall be so assembled as to provide for necessary camber as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (5) Only steel staging system (of approved quality & design) shall be used for all structural /RCC work for all floors at all levels / heights. (6) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chisseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar or non-shrink grouts as applicable at no extra payment. (7) The completed form work including the alignment, levels, profile etc. shall be inspected and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge before the reinforcement bars are placed in position. (8) Temporary shuttering used as stopper in concreting shall not be measured for payment. (9) Provision of through & through bolts / sleeves in external concrete walls,vaults, columns for centering / shuttering & scaffolding shall not be permitted. Through and through tie rods will not be allowed in leak tight structures. (10) The through & through bolts in RCC walls shall be monolithic having cup & cone system as per specific design requirements with prior approval of the Engineer-in-Charge. (11) The contractor shall design, fabricate, assemble and erect aluminium staging in areas wherever SS lining are indicated in the drawing. The contractor shall provide his design related documents & shop drawings including the grade, size, thickness & finish of the aluminium sections adopted for such staging for obtaining approval from the Engineer-in-Charge prior to the commencement. (12) The contractor shall ensure for provisions of adequate safety measures such as handrails, platform, safety nets etc. during the course of execution to facilitate safe means of access at no extra cost to the Owner.

In all sub-structure work

Providing and fixing in position 50mm thick Joint filler board of Approved make in expansion joints to the required size and shape, placing and keeping in position complete as per specifications and drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing 3mm thick Aluminium sheet covering over expansion joints with iron screws as per design to match the colour/ shade of wall treatment including all materials, labour, scaffolding complete as per drawings and specifications

150 mm wide anodized 3mm thick Aluminium sheet to the shape.

Providing Reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tying in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per specifications and drawings. Using TMT Bars of specified Grades of all Sizes. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor SAIL, RINL, JSW, Electrosteel, TATA make or as per Approved vendor list. Steel Supplied by the Contractor

Providing and Laying Solid cement concrete block masonry with M-5 Grade of 190/140 mm thick in super structure in cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand). The rate shall also include providing and placing in position 2 nos of 8mm dia bars at every third course of the masonry work

Providing and applying 20mm thick ready-mix plaster in two coats over masonry / concrete walls, columns, beams etc. made out of a mix of special binder, high quality polymer additives, cement and processed sand (of approved brand & quality) on the specified surfaces, finishing the surface, by taking out grains or keeping the surface rough to receive finishing work or as required to receive specified architectural external finish, to correct line, plumb and level to external faces of walls, soffits if any ) upto a height of 10 metres above average ground level, including racking out junctions of masonry and concrete and other dissimilar materials, hacking closely concrete surfaces, independent double legged scaffolding etc. Item also include plastering to precast concrete window sills, RCC cornices, making wattas, drip moulds, pattas, grooves (other than specially listed hereunder),etc., providing GPVC fibre mesh as mentioned in the notes above to a width of 300mm at the junctions of masonry & concrete works including tying in position by using suitable nails / clamps / screws, doing curing, cleaning, etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer.

(11) Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates. (12) Welding Electrodes of approved brand and specified suitable grade only shall be used (13) Holes shall be drilled by Drilling machines only and gas cutting of holes is not permitted . (14) Rate shall be inclusive of all consumables like gas, welding electrodes, tools and tackles etc.

Providing structural steel work in MS at all levels in beams, channels, angles, plain plates etc. of approved make, including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting, and fixing in position / embedding in concrete including painting with a primer coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer.

Providing and fixing precoated Galvalume Roofing profile sheets of approved size, shape and pitch upto and including single length of 12.00m. The sheet shall be fixed using self-drilling/ self-tapping screws of size (5.5X55mm) with EPDM sealor with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers filled with white lead complete upto any pitch in horizontal /vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Galvalume sheet roofing 0.50 mm Thickness in Single sheet

Providing and fixing at all levels MS bolts including nuts and washers of approved size, quality and make as per requirements and as per specifications, drawings complete all as directed at site by the Engineer in charge

Providing and fixing in position Rolling shutters made of Power coated galvanized steel double wall lathe sections mounted on specially designed pipes shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside & outside locking with Push and Pull operation complete including the cost of providing and fixing necessary springs of required size, (wire spring grade No 2.) and G.I Top cover of required thickness for Rolling Shutters, manufactured by approved manufacturer including all accessories including locking arrangements, Hood made of 0.90 mm thick sheet.

Extra over the cost of rolling shutters for Providing and fixing Motorized arrangements (with remote & manual operation) including designing, providing spring less motor, control panels, limit switches, required wiring and cables from panel to motor and required size of shaft etc of "Gandhi automation", or "Swastik" make or equivalent approved make all as per standard specifications including commissioning and testing complete. (Only Power supply point will be provided)

Extra over the cost of rolling shutters for Providing Wicket gate of specified size in the Rolling shutters including fixing with fixing arrangements, Hinges, locking arrangements, Frames etc. all as per standard specifications and as directed complete.

Supplying, installing and testing of wind driven Stainless Stell turbo ventilators with all accessories.

Providing, supplying, fixing in position in walls Rain water down take pipes using Centrifugally cast iron pipes (3.00 metres long) including required specials like bends, shoes etc for Rain water down take pipes Confirming to IS.3989( NECO or approved equivalent make) including cost of Jointing with spun yarn and molten lead of specified quantity, caulking the joints, including testing of pipes,painting with primer , fixing at walls with necessary approved type of clamps and brackets complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed at site.

Providing and constructing Storm water chambers of Internal size clear dimension of 450mm X 450mm in 230 thick brick masonry with Cement mortat 1:4 over a bed of 150 mm thick 1:4:8 cement concrete foundation including plastering with cement mortar 1:4 20 mm thick on inside , out side and all exposed sufaces finished with a floating coat of neat cement, embedding the C.I Frame and cover, and fixing Cast Iron Steps if necessary at 300 mm intervals complete . Depth of Chamber not exceeding 900 mm.

Providing and fixing dry stone pitching 22.5cm thick laid in required profile with hammer dressed stones having no side less than 15cm, with minimum depth of 20cm including preparing the bedding surface etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
