Supply and fixing/laying in replacement 40 mm bore, steel tubings galvanised, light grade with all fittings fixing along the electric pole / wall for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sub main wiring with 2 run of 2.5 sqmm (nominal cross-sectional area) PVC insulated unsheathed single core flame retardant low smoke cable (FRLS) of working voltage 1100 volts grade with stranded copper conductor including one run of 1.5 Sqmm (nominal cross sectional area) PVC insulated unsheathed flame retardant cable (FR) with stranded copper conductor as continuous earth wire connected to main switches DBs or in common earth dolly drawn with and including 20 mm dia PVC rigid non- metallic conduit and fixtures including flexible PVC pipe at starting and finishing point after and including taking down / dismantling old sub main wiring including old conduit etc of any description complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : (i) Two run of submain wiring cable alongwith one run of earth wire and one run of PVC rigid non metallic conduit shall be measured as one length).

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking up / laying under ground electric cable or for pole including boring of hole inside the road/path etccomplete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Mechanical excavation is not allowed in this Stn only manual excavation allowed.

Returning and filling in two parts (i) using riddled soil obtained from excavated soil upto depth of 30 cm (8 cm below cable and remaining above cable) for cushioning of cable and (ii) refilling the trench of remaining depth with normal excavated soil all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavated soil shall be riddled by using sieve to separate composite partricles etc as per IS 1255 1983 and refilling in trenches as in cable cushioning.

Removing surplus soils to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all complete as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying Bricks, sub class 'B' old size bricks, laid flat dry with width of the bricks laid to the axis of the cable all complete as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in replacement for 10 sqmm one twin core flat or circular 1100 volt grade heavy duty cable insulated stranded aluminium conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of aluminium cable thimbles of size 35 Sqmm UG Cable including complete connection and crimping complete all as specified and directed. .

Material and labour in replacement of aluminium cable thimbles of size 25 Sqmm UG Cable including complete connection and crimping complete all as specified and directed. .

Material and labour in replacement of aluminium cable thimbles of size 16 Sqmm UG Cable including complete connection and crimping complete all as specified and directed. .

Supply and fix in replacement junction box of size 250mm x 200mm x 100mm mada out of FRP with double stud hinged door locking including fixing hardware on Steel tubular pole or PCC pole in and including MCB 6 amps - 1 Nos with dinrail for mounting of MCB including suitable TPN connector for looping duly sealed with rubber plugs and fixing hardware etc complete all as specified and directed by Enge In Charge.

Material and labour for Tripod (Delta) type maintenance free chemical earthing (comprising of three Nos chemical earthing) .The chemical earthing will have specification as follows:- (a) Copper electrode of wall thickness minimum 2mm not less than 3 mtr length with not less than 76mm outer dia total 03 Nos including copper strip of size 50 x 6mm minimum 2 mtr long connected /exothermic welding with 75mm dia copper electrode and 25 x 3mm copper strip not less than 3 mtr long for inter connecting three 75mm copper earth electrode complete all as specified and as directed (b) Fixing of copper earth electrode by drilling/ boring 175mm dia hole 5.00 mtr deep in any type of strata, placing electrode along with extention earth strip 50 x 6mm 2 mts long and mixing earthing enhancement compound Gel min 10 KG per bore total 30 KG for 3 bores and 75 KG per bore total 225 KG for 3 bores soil resistivity improvement compound homogeneously as per manufacturer instruction. (c) FRP earthing display board 254 x 380mm made out of plasic material showing information related to type of earthing, earthing result, due date of testing along with fixing size 610mm height made of plastic hollow pipe of 20mm dia.

(d) PCC earthing pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of internal size 300mm x 300mm x 300mm with 120mm thick wall and 700mm x 70mm x 150mm thick bed concrete and 50mm thick precast chamber cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 for reinfoced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM Jali (weight not less than 4.00 kg/Sqm), complete all as shown in electrical plate No -3 of SSR part - I complete. (e) Contractor must visit the site before quoting the tender to understand the difficulty and cost for carrying out the job in the station. It is important that contractor ascertain the quantum of work.

(f) Contractor must produce the certificate from the manufacturer that chemical earthing has been carried out by manufacturer. The manufacturer must also issue the warranty for chemical earthing that Ohmic value of earth shall not increase more than 1 Ohm for five year. (g) Extension strip from electrode upto 0.15mtr height from GL to be deemed included in quted rate including brazing of all joints.

Material and labour for maintenance free chemical earthing comprising of one No chemical earthing the chemical earthing will have specification as follows:- (a) Copper electrode of wall thickness minimum 2mm not less than 3 mtr length with not less than 76mm outer dia including copper strip of size 50 x 6mm minimum 2 mtr long connected /exothermic welding with 76mm dia copper electrode. (b) Fixing of copper earth electrode by drilling/ boring 175mm dia hole 5.00 mtr deep in any type of strata, placing electrode along with extention earth strip 50 x 6mm 2 mts long and mixing earthing enhancement compound Gel min 10 KG per bore and 75 KG soil resistivity improvement compound mixing homogeneously as per manufacturer instruction. (c) FRP earthing display board 254 x 380mm made out of plasic material showing information related to type of earthing, earthing result, due date of testing along with fixing size 610mm height made of plastic hollow pipe of 20mm dia.

(b) Fixing of GI earth electrode by drilling/ boring 175mm dia hole 5.00 mtr deep in any type of strata, placing electrode along with extention earth strip 50 x 6mm 2 mts long and mixing earthing enhancement compound Gel min 10 KG per bore and 75 KG soil resistivity improvement compound mixing homogeneously as per manufacturer instruction. (c) FRP earthing display board 254 x 380mm made out of plasic material showing information related to type of earthing, earthing result, due date of testing along with fixing size 610mm height made of plastic hollow pipe of 20mm dia.

Note:- All the joints shall be made with exothermic welding to get proper conductivity.

M&L earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required 25 x 4mm GI strip including fixing arrengment like epoxy insulatos on wall/pole etc. Note:- All the joints shall be made with exothermic welding to get proper conductivity.

M & L for providing earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5M below ground level connected to GI wire 4mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc connected to earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate NO 3 of SSR 2009 part 1 ,including necessary excavation and earth work in any strata of soil,GI water pipe with 20mm dia.funnel &wire mesh PCC pit with CI cover and frame etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. M & L for providing earthing with copper earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5M below ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc.of copper / brass connected to earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate NO 3 of SSR2009 part 1 ,including necessary excavation and earth work in any strata of soil,GI water pipe with 20mm dia.funnel &wire mesh PCC pit with CI cover and frame etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
