Supply and laying in replacement of Cross linked poly-ethylene (XLPE) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables ( heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts LT grade of cross-sectional area 10 Sqmm 02 core laid in trenches/through pipe in road crossings/ paths /drains /ducts /floors /along poles/walls/ceilings/ equipments etc supplied, fixed/ laid in repair including commissioning and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Gloster/Finolex/Havells. (Note: :- (i) Necessary excavation and earth work, brick protection, sand cushioning and cover and GI pipe shall be measured and paid for separately.(ii) Road cutting/floor cutting/cutting holes chases in wall etc by manually required for laying /fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing site condition. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account and quoted rate for this item shall be deemed to include for the same). Notes for Item No 1.00 to 47.00 1. This item is considereded for repair and maintanace of LT infrastucture of Bikaner Mil station . 2. LT fault / reapir and maintanace intimated to the contractor or his rep at any time day or night, through complaint slip or telephonically must be rectified by the contractor within 8 Hrs. If contractor fails to rectify the fault with in 8 Hrs a panelty of Rs 500 per day per complaint will be deducted till the fault/complaint is rectified. 3. All Material required for the repair and matainance work considered in the CA will be made available by the contractor with in 3 Hr.

Taking out old LT underground cable and laying after removing of defects any type/size laid in trenches/through pipe in road crossings/ paths /drains /ducts /floors /along poles/walls/ceilings/ equipments etc including commissioning and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying only bricks for protection to cable with one layer of old bricks retrieved from item No laid flat abutting to each other in such a way that the length of the brick is at right angle to the central axis of the cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for route of cable and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in soft/loose soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming, in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc.1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Protection to cable with one layer of bricks laid flat butting to each other in such a way that the length of the bricks is at right angle to the central axis of the cable using old size sub-class ‘B’ burnt-clay bricks brick having compressing strength not less than 75 Kg/ Square cm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Local tibba dry sand cushioning and cover (8 cm thick layer of sand before laying of cable and 15 cm thick layer of sand after laying of cable) for protection of cable, material and labour complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Punned thickness will be measured and paid).

Supply and fixing in replacement GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ road crossings/ fixed to poles/ceiling / along walls/ path /drain/floors with and including all necessary clamps, nuts, bolts, washers etc and all fittings as required, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Necessary excavation, earth work and same work shall be measured and paid for separately.)

Make: ABB/Scheinder/Siemen/Legrand.

Supplying and laying heavy duty PVC cable insulated standard Aluminium conductor 1100 volt grade served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connection suspended by insulating hangers more than 1 mtr apart including 4mm suspension wire, one twin core cable flat or circular, size 06 sq mm in replacement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking down old damaged/broken pre-stressed concrete/steel LT electric poles of any type and remove from site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and stringing in replacement Aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) any type of ACSR conductor as per site requirement of size /make as ordered including stringing for overhead line on LT poles including aluminum binding wire 14 SWG, jumpers, line tapes, conducting jelly etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Notes : (i) The ACSR conductors shall be conforming to IS-398 and as specified in SSR Part-I.(ii) The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for supply & fixing of aluminium binding wire, aluminium tapes etc which shall not be included in the weight of conductors.(iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring true horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS.)

Supply and fixing in replacement of Galvanised steel wire, 4mm dia (No 8 SWG) for continuous earth wire and Cradies, hexagonal/rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4 mm dia complete all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Fe-410-0 or Fe-310-0 grade including necessary nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape and size as directed and including applying two coats of aluminium paint (under & finishing coats) over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer on exposed steel surfaces after preparation of surfaces, supplied and fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: - (i) Sizes & types of members and shape of the cross arms etc shall be as required at site all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) Un-exposed steel surfaces shall be given one coat of red-oxide zinc chromate primer only. Cost of the same is included in unit rate of the item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.)

Supplied and fixed in repair Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100 mm height, 65 mm dia. for working pressure 1100 volts grade, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement for shackle type, vitreous, white, brown, or green insulators, including galvanised mild steel strips, washers, insulators bolts, washers and nut for working pressure 1100 Volt, 100mm height 115mm dia, glavanised steel fitting strips of size 21 x 5mm, 14mm dia bolts complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Bengal potteries/ Jay Sree/Bikaner ceramics/Mysore.

Danger notice plate of size 20cm x 15 cm x 1.60 mm thick of mild steel sheet, vitreous, enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull & bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps made out of 25 mm x 3mm MS flat iron including bolts and nuts of approved size for LT 1100 volts, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplied and fixed in replacement of GI strip of size 32mm x 6.0 mm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides, connected to galvanized earth wire 4 mm dia with and including nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel and riveted to earth plate at one end and connecting to main switch board or metallic bodies of HT/LT equipments etc at the other end, GI wire encased in and including 20 mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings, from top of electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 25 x 6mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe light grade and including funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs etc from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and CI cover complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No 03 of SSR Pt-I connecting earth electrode to test point with and including earthing lead including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m, material and labour complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Surface dressing/ cleaning of surrounding area of LT panel / two pole/four pole structure/ substation/transformer area 11KV/33 KV station and surface including removing of tree branches complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge

Disconnect the electric supply from Main GO/DO and taking down old existing Loose ACSR conductor mounted on Steel/PCC pole 4 to 6 Conductor and Re-stringing of existing over head line ACSR conductor/GI wire of any size/type including repair of conductor broken due to wind storm/expansion, contraction etc, on existing LT steel and/or PCC pole including replacement of aluminium binding wire of suitable size and refixing of all old accessories carefully without damaging of insulator etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Note: A Team of workers for emergency are avlaible 24 Hours)

Ditto all as per Seiral item No 44 here in before but using 7 to 9 Conductor complete all as specified and as diredted by Engineer-In-Charge.

Trimming/pruning of the tree branches comming cross electric power head line HT/LT feeder cleaning the span and making it free from touching the tree branches complete all as specified and as diredted by Engineer-In-Charge. (Note :-(i) All item of LT overhead lines taken together shall be measured as one unit for the payment purpose under this item.(ii) Only such length shall be measured where trees are required to be cut/trimmed as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.(ii) Removing branches from road and diposition at a distance of more than 500 meter is included in the rate quoted).

M & L Pin pointing fault of faulty LT cables by using cable fault locator machine removing the fault and testing LT cable complete Job all as specified and as diredted by Engineer-In-Charge.
