Tender for Maintenance of 5Nos. of Public Toilet Blocks, Housekeeping work at Site Administrative Office Building and 11KV Sub Station Building in General shift at Chennai Fishing Harbour.

1. Maintenance of 5 Nos. of Public Toilet blocks and Housekeeping including cleaning of Toilets at Site Administrative Office Building (Ground floor and First floor) and 11KV Sub-station in General shift at Chennai Fishing Harbour, by cleaning all sanitary fittings like water closets, urinal, bath room area and wash basin and cleaning the floor, wall dadoing, doors, windows, ventilator including removing the cob web, keeping the toilet area premises in neat and hygienic condition all as directed including all labour, cleaning tools/equipments, materials, consumables, etc. complete. Total number of Labour to be posted daily – 5Nos. as detailed below. (1) Public toilet block near Culvert No.3 and 11KV Sub-station – 1No. (2) Public toilet block near Cross Road 'E' – 1No. (3) Public toilet block near 1st Main Road – 1No. (4) Public toilet block near Nagoorar Thottam and FHMC Site Administrative Office Building – 1No............................................................................................... (5) Public toilet block at entrance of Norther Breakwater – 1No. Note: (a) The work shall be carried out in General shift (08:00 am to 05:00 pm) in all days including Sunday and Holidays except May Day, Pongal Festival day and Deepavali Festival day. (b) Necessary Weekly Off for the labour engaged by contractor is to be given in a staggered manner without affecting the work even in Sundays and Holidays. For non-posting of labour an amount of Rs.980/- per day/ labour will be levied as penalty and the same will be deducted from the bill accordingly. (c) Cleaning the toilets including sanitary fittings water closets etc., by using liquid detergent / floor cleaner – 2 times per day or as directed at site. (d) Cleaning the doors, windows, ventilators, etc., with soap water / liquid detergent and wiping with dry cloth – Once in a week. (e) Removing the cob web – Once in a week.

2. Removing the soil with toilet water from the Septic tank through the sewage tanker lorry whenever required. Tanker lorry capacity is 9000 to 10000 litres. Note: 1. The contractor should intimate the Fishing Harbour Site Engineer, in advance for cleaning of Septic tank. 2. This item is to be operated whenever required. 3. The contractor shall maintain trip sheets in triplicate in FHMC approved format at his own cost for the loading of soil with sewage water transported.
