| 2.01The following scope of comprehensive maint is as under for item No 01 & 02 above:- (a) The parameters of input and output shall be maintained as under :- Inlet parameters: (i) BOD - 250-275 mg/ltr (ii) COD - 400-550 mg/ltr (iii) TSS - 400 mg/ltr (iv) PH - 7 to 7.5 (v) Fecal Coliform - < 230 | |||||
| 2.02Parameters for treated sewage effluent required are as:- (i) BOD -Less than or equal to 10 mg/Itr (ii) COD -Less than or equal to 150 mg/ltr (iii) TSS -< 30 mg/ltr ` (iv) PH -7 to 8 (v) E coli - Less than or equal to 100 counts/100 ml (vi) Residual chlorine ->0.5mg/Itr (iv) DO (Dissolved oxygen level - 2 to 4 mg/ Itr in biological system to be maintained) | |||||
| 2.03(b) The following weekly maintenance to be carried out STP system is inspected weekly and the following points attended to :- (i) Inspect Equalisation Tank/Entry to system for blockages, plastics etc and remove. (ii) Inspect Aeration, recirculation flow and if any mal odour, it is to be treated. (iii) Inspect Secondary clarifier and note visual appearance of final effluent and absence (or otherwise) of sludge build up. Check the outlet of the system for blockage etc. (iv) Grease the bearings (v) Grease all chain couplings through casing nipples. (vi) Check oil level in air blower, gear boxes and hydraulic system and top up if required. (vii) Check shaft for wear and alignment (viii) Check bearings for wear and tear and check holding down bolts for tightness (xi) Check chain coupling and check bolts for tightness. | |||||
| 2.04(c) The following monthly maintenance to be carried out- i) Check motor for overheating (by touch) and remove dust etc. from air fins. ii) Grease all bearings through nipples. iii) Grease all chain couplings through casing nipples. iv) Check oil level in air blower and replace. v) Apply light lubricating oil in small quantities to locks and hinges. vi) Sludge disposal outside the campus atleast once in a month. vii) check dozing pump and repair/service if necessary. (viii) Inlet and outlet analysis parameter report tested by NABL approved lab once in a month to be submitted as per designed parameters / CPCB norms | |||||
| 2.05(d) The following items for routine maintenance shall be provided in plant :- (i) Liquid chlorine with suitable % of chlorine concentration as recommended by manufacturer Per year - 3360 ltrs for Site 'A' and 15650 ltrs for Site 'B' (ii) Blower Oil - 24 ltrs for site 'A' and 120 ltrs for Site 'B'. (iii) Gear box oil - 24 ltrs for site 'A' and 24 ltrs for site 'B' (iv) Hydraulic 68 oil - 80 ltrs for site 'A' and 80 ltrs for site 'B' (v) Grease - 15 kgs for Site 'A' and 15 Kgs for Site 'B' (vi ) Hand gloves, Consumable [Including Lab Chemicals] (vii) Cleaning of treated water tank shall be done once in a year | |||||
| 2.06(e) The following items shall be replaced as and when required or as directed by the Engr-in-Charge :- (i) Gaskets and gland packing (ii) O-rings (iii) Drive belts for air blower and clarifier. (iv) Minor Electrical accessories viz indication lamps, fuses etc or any other spares left out as required. (v) Blades (vi) Pasting materials (vii) Consumables like gloves, Safety jackets, helmets, respirators etc. (viii) Cleaning chemicals, reagents and lubricants etc. (xi) Contractor shall ensure the filter media particles are upto the level in ACF and PSF, if the quantity level reduces due to loss during filtration and back wash, the same should be top up during routine maintenance. | |||||

| 2.08Note for item No 01 & 02:- The unit quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the following :- (i) The contractor shall visit the site/ plant before quoting the tender The existing STP plant is MBBR and original Equipment Manufacturer is M/S Ensys Technology, Chennai (ii) To provide technical support for comprehensive maintenance of STP, the contractor shall enter MOU with the OEMs. No additional payment on this account shall be made to the contractor by the department. (iii) Irrespective of the fact that MOU is signed by contractor with an OEM, contractor will be fully responsible for overall performance and quality of treated water coming out after treatment. (iv) The comprehensive maintenance of STP plant of MBBR will be carried out through authorised rep of the OEM's only under the supervision of contractor and the Engineer-in-Charge. The authorised service agency of OEM shall be responsible to provide all technical support for comprehensive maintenance and shall also be responsible for performance of the plant in terms of outlet parameters mentioned here-in-before (v) Arrangement for testing of COD, BOD, TSS, Dissolved Oxygen, PH values shall be done by the contractor for performance monitoring of parameters on a regular basis. (vii) Service Engineer of OEM shall visit at least once in every month and during break down or when urgently required for the Inspection, servicing repair, rectification of problem and submission of report. | |||||

Taking down existing monoblock / non‑clog self‑priming / centrifugal pump motor of following capacity by disconnecting all electrical and mechanical connections; dismantling pump and motor assembly; cleaning, inspecting, and replacing unserviceable gaskets, fasteners, and consumables; lubricating bearings; reassembling, aligning, reconnecting suction and delivery pipelines; making electrical connections; testing and commissioning to ensure smooth operation, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Replacement of any major items will be measured and paid for separately.
