Earth work in excavation for foundation of structures as per drawings and technical specifications, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material - Marshy soil - Mechanical Means - upto 3 metre depth including the cost of labour, hire charge for tipper, hydraulic excavator and overhead charges.

Supply of Quarry rubbish including stacking to department gauge for premeasurement and spreading required thickness

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - all work upto plith level - 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)

Plain cement concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifications - PCC Grade M15 with a minimum cement content of 275 kg / cum including the cost of labour, material hire charge for concrete mixer, electric gen set, form work and overhead charges.

Earth work in rough excavation (excluding rock) by using machinery and conveyance of the excavated earth from Nallambal lake and filling in the site for formation of temporary road for the reconstruction of Pallivoikal culvert at Subrayapuram road in Thirunallar in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes capacity including all leads and lifts. (The actual quantity of earth conveyed will be calculated based on the levels and after deducting 5% of total quantity for voids for the pupose of payment). The rate to include the Royalty for earth, cost of earth work excavation, loading on tipper / lorries, transportation, unloading at site, watering and rolling as specified above as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a consolidated thickness of 0.15 m for sub base course including stacking of the material to the departmental gauge on road side for pre measurement the volume of stacks calculated as per actual measurement shall be reduced by 15%for looseness in stacking to arrive at the net quantity. The rate shall including labour charges for spreading and hand packing to the required camber and graded and rolling with power roller hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed and the cost of boulders etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density - Using vibratory roller. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)
