M&L for Scarifying or picking of gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n.exc. 400 Sqm & depth exc. 50 mm deep but n.exc. 100 mm deep, complete all as per specified and directed. Note: Material obtained under this item shall be used for filling under except WBM item complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with paving bitumen of VG-30 grade having 4% by weight of total mix, laid / rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags, or remove all loose soil, dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen of VG-30 grade @ 5 Kg / 10 Sqm, complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for applying Bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm, consolidated thickness with paver with 5.5 % ( design mix ) binder content by weight of total mix ( Paving bitumen of VG-30 Grade ) laid with mechanically paver and material transported in tipped (covered) rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as per specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced ) of any description and in any position ( below or above ground level ) complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for PCC type C1 ( 1:3:6 ) ( Using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) as in Drains complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for Moorum / red bajri 100 mm thick, in berms, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradiant and camber required complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for road line painting with thermoplastic paint of approved colour with reflectorised glass beads on bitumen road consisting hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorised glass beads @ 250 gm per Sqm area as per MOST specification. Thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35 including cleaning of old road marking paint, the finished surface to be levelled, uniform and free from streaks and holes in addition where arrows of letters are to be provided. Thermoplastic compound should be machine sprayed. The colour of compound shall be as approved by GE,complete all as per specified and directed. Make: Shalimark of STP Ltd / Kataline or Equivalent make as approved by the GE.

Ditto all as per serl item No. 8.00 for zebra crossing, complete all as per specified and directed.

S&F in repairs high density grade reflector / delineator of 75 mm outer dia heavy duty steel pipe 900 mm high with 300 mm embedded in and incl PCC type C2 ( 1:3:6 ) ( Using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) with head cap hydraulic machine pressed and hold fast weld mesh two coats of balck paint by hot pressing over a coat of red oxide and reflective strips 03 Nos. around the pipe in full perimeter all as per MOST and IRC specifications complete all as per specified and directed. Make: ABS Engg Dark Eye or Equivalent make as approved by the GE.

M&L for repairs Cateye incl. repair and fixing with adhesive of approved make, complete all as per specified and directed. Make: Birla 3M / Kataline or Equivalent make as approved by the GE.

Demolition of brickwork or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quions, arches, pillars, etc. but excluding ashlar facings dressed stonework and precast articles complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ ( modular size bricks ) straight or curved on plan exc. 6 m mean radius, built in CM ( 1:4 ) complete all as per specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces, including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in CM ( 1:4 ) on brick / concrete surfaces including finishing the surfaces even and smooth ( without using extra cement ) complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for RCC NP-2 pipe laid and jointed complete with collars 450 mm dia. Including demolition and removing of old pipe. complete all as per specified and directed. Make: Everest, Himalaya, Poona concrete product, Indian hume pipe / Any ISI marked.

M&L for concrete bed including padding under haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, in cement concrete type D2 ( 1:4:8 ) ( Using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) complete all as per specified and directed.

Notes for item No 2, 3, & 4:- (i) Only minus price variation in qty of binder obtained from design mix shall be adjusted through minus price Rs 44/per kg of qty of binder. No adjustment for plus variation in qty of binder shall be admissible. (ii) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportations etc for job mix formula shall be inclusive in the unit rate and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account. (iii) Mix shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver and materials shall be transported in tipper (covered).
