SPECIAL REPAIR TO BUILDING NUMBER P-234 (04 X CAPTAIN OFFICER MARRIED ACCOMODATION) AT SANGRUR UNDER GE (SOUTH) PATIALA

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and applying for two component elestomeric acrylic polimer modified cementitious water proofing coating on brick wall SmartCare Damp Block 2k or approved eqivalent having 1005 elengotation as per ASTMD412 , resisting 5 bars hydrostatic pressure as per DIN 1048 reduction to rapid chloried 70 as per ASTMC 1202 ,crack bridging up to 1.2 mmas per ASTM 4548.5 The Coating shall havefood grade Certificate from laboratories like CFTRI, will be applyon both Positive & Negative side and resist upto 5 Bars of Hydrostic pressure .The mixing ratio of coating shall be 2 parts of powder & 1 part of liquid without any water addition in the mixing etc .After coating will sprinkle sand on the coating then theh apply plaster on the coating which is in contractor scope complete all as manufacture specification and all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar CM 1:6 finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick cement plaster in Cement mortar 1:4 by using water proofing compound as per manufactures instructions on brick or concrete surfaces of wall finished complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured saparately.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 as on concrete surfaces in ceiling finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description such as distempering work ,internal emulsion etc from internal/external surfaces of walls & ceiling with mechanical means/grinder including removal of material from site complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for exterior painting work including complete removal of existing loose paint layers till plaster level by using jet pressure washer and crack filling up to 3mm by using crack seal & up to 10mm by using textured crack filler. Touch-up by using wall putty with silicon additives followed by application of one coat of truecare exterior primer on walls and Chajjas and applying two coats of modified acrylic smooth emulsion exterior grade with silicon having anti-algal and Dust pickup resistance properties, Material should be applied (Dilution, Recoating period etc..) as per manufacturer instructions by using fully automatic air less spray machine having flow speed of minimum 1ltr per minute and pressure of 3300 PSI. (Ace Suprema). or equivalant complete all as specified and directed. Note- (i) The contractor shall submit manufacturer generated 04 years warranty card for each buildings treated/ painted during submission of Final Bill and guarantee amount @ 5% will be kept as reserve till completion of warranty period and will be released thereafter. Any deterioration during the warranty period will be rectified by the contractor without any financial effect within a week.

(ii) The work shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior/Interior Paint, Putty etc after approval by the GE. (iii) The Lowest bidder shall submit the "Memoradum of Understanding" (MOU) as per format given in Annexure ‘A’ after Schedule 'A' Notes with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, after acceptance of the bid but before commencement of the work. If he fails to submit the same as referred above, his contract shall liable to be cancelled. (iv) Cost of T&P and a scaffolding/Jhoola, trestles, ladders, cradeles, centring, crane, boom lifts/ crane of any type and shuttering etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures complete upto all height shall be deemed to be included under respective item. (v) Cost of temporary covering to all joinery items (like doors, windows, window panes), sanitary fittings, dado/skirting, floors, etc to protect them from splashes. (vi) Packing material/empty Buckets will not be handed over to the contractor and will be property of the MES and will be disposed off with the permission of the Engineer-in-Charge and GE. (vii) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (viii) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. (ix) Cost of removing of nails, making good holes, filling of cracks with acrylic crack filler paste etc shall be deemed to be included under respective item. (x) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.

M&L for preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over complete all as specified and directed.
