Removing dry or oil bound distemper water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering , clening with water jet and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete at all floors and locations including the cost of materials, labour, tools & plants etc., all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead as per specification & direction of E-I-C.

Filling of external cracks of more than 1mm width at all floors/ heights and locations (within a height of 30 m) using acrylic latex caulk crack filling compound / sealant manufactured by approved equivalent make including making V shaped grooves along the crack, cleaning, removing all loose matter, dirt, and dust and applying the crack filling compound /sealant using catridge guns as per manufacturer’s instructions / specifications on the walls together with wall materials, labour, curing, tools & plants etc., all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar of average thickness in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of subject work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge.

Finishing walls and Ceilings with 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives of Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm. Over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm.having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and as per specification & direction of E-I-C.

Synthetic Enamel painting two or more coats over the new work /the existing painted surfaces of walls/windows/doors etc using 1st quality enamel paint of approved make and shade including sand papering, removing stains, oil marks, grease, dust, dirt etc and washing if necessary complete with cost of materials, labour, tools & plants scaffolding etc all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness)1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of E-I-C.

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes exposed on wall, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, including fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Steel reinforcement of Fe500D or more for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for Columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts and struts etc. as per direction of E-I-C.

General terms and Conditions: 1. Contractor shall inspect the site to acquaint with the site as well as security conditions at AMD, Jamshedpur. (2). The rates quoted shall include cost of all tools and tackles, manpower including wages, liveries, all wastages and taxes GST, Labour cess, IT, etc., as applicable but exclusive of EPF and ESI are exclusive. EPF and ESI are reimbursable as per relevant clause. (3). Removing household furniture/articles, covering the furniture/articles with taurpalins/PVC covers, before starting the work,and rearranging/ uncovering household furniture/articles immediatly after completion of painting has to be done by the contractor at his cost. No extra payment shall be paid for this purpose. (4). Any accident involving labour, construction machinery and person(s) passing vehicle occupants etc. at the work site due to actions of the contractor/his menand/or women will be the responsibility of the contractor. (5).The contractor shall provide all necessary personal protective safety equipments such as safety belt, helmet, safety shoe to all workers engaged on the work and comply with safety code given in the tender. (6). All the samples of materials which are to incorporated in the work shall be got approved by the Engineer -In- charge well in advance. All mandatory tests for materials shall be carried out/done by the contractor at his cost only. Department will not pay/ reimburse any laboratory testing charges. (7). The contractor is required to pay his employees / labour as per the prevailing minimum wages approved by State/ Central Govt. The Officer In –Charge or his representative will witness the payment of contractor’s labour and is required to certify that the contractor does not pay less than the minimum wages approved. Payment to the contractor will be released only on such certification from Officer In –Charge. The contractor shall maintain 1. Register of Workmen employed 2. Muster roll 3. Register of wages etc. (8) Contractor shall quote rates for all items after considering cost of materials and labour components and all such conditions leads, lifts, safety precautions, security restrictions that are necessary for satisfactory completion of work as per instructions and site conditions.
