Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep in soft / loose soil for laying / taking up / taking down of cables and getting out and levelling of bottom suface to required level all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm using excavated suitable soil complete all as specified.

Removing excavated soil from site to a distance n. exc 50 mtrs away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing dry river sand as in sand cushioning to under ground cable of any descreption including punning down of sand in layer all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge. Note: for measurement purpose any punned thickness of sand will be considered.)

M&L for laying well burnt old size bricks, sub class "B" bricks, laid flat with width equal to length of brick, laid dry over electric cable for protection complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting of road / path / hardstading / concrete in floor, etc for laying of cable complete all as directed at site by Engr-in-charge

M&L for cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 (40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation / filling of cutting of roads / path / hardstanding and mass concrete all as specified by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Earthing in replacement complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.0mm thick, burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, using GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth strip electrode bolted or rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI 'light grade' pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipments,20 dia bore GI pipe 'light grade' as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of earth plate, Test point , GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in pit chamber and RCC pit cover 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, duly reinforced with MS TMT bars 8mm dia @ 100 c/c both ways with 10 mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor / wall all as described in electric plate No 3 of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion.

Earthing in replacement complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by mean of GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of GI or steel and connecting to earthing test point, main switch board, testing on completion including PCC cover and frame, PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 as in earthing pit, MS funnel with wire mesh GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade for watering and GI pipe 15 mm dia light grade for the protection of GI wire from earth pit to earth point complete including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 m all as specified as shown in electrical plate No 3 SSR Part-I. Supply drawing, connecting and testing in replacement 3 core, 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated and PVC round sheathed` copper conductor (flexible industurial cable, 1100 Volts conforming to IS 694 in steel tubular poles from Junction box to street light fitting including providing suitable copper lugs all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Preparation of old painted surfaces of LT steel tubular pole 9 mtrs long and applying one coat aluminium paint from bottom to top and painting up to 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC coping with synthetic enamel paint one coat in black and Yellow / white alternate strip including re writing pole numbering in 8 cm height with one coat synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified & directed by Engineer –in-Charge.

M&L for Preparation of old painted surfaces of LT panel by scrapping, making good distrubed surfaces by applying putties on uneven surface to make it even and spray painting to LT panel of any size with two coat of synthetic enamel paint with desired colour complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning in replacement factory made, CPRI approved, powder coated LT Panel board (Dimention of Cubical / enclosure not less than 1700 mm x 1200 mm x 600 mm), cubical compartmentalized, out door type double door, plate form mounted, suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz AC supply system having bus bar chamber with insulated aluminium bus bars four pole installed on porcelain / SMC insulator. The panel shall be dust and vermin proof IP-54 class protection and outer shell made of of 3.15 mm CRCA sheet, inner shell made of 2.0 mm thick CRCA MS sheet , 50 x 50 x 6 mm thick MS angle iron frame work, the cubical have bottom channel of size 75 x 40 mm duly powder coated, front and rear opening type, with apron for cable entry closing locking arrangement including internal wiring with PVC insulated solid, copper conductor FRLS cable, IS-694 marked, 1100 volts grade of appropriate size ( but not less than 2.5 Sqmm) and comprising of the following :-

The platform shall be such that it is of a height 45 cm above the nearest road level. Note :- (i) All out going feeder shall be connected by cable through suitable size gland plate / glands. (ii) The various feeders shall be indicated by 50 mm size letters in synthetic enamel white paint. (iii) All MCCB with adjustable protection for over load and short circuit and conforming to IEC60947-II/IS 13947-II (Latest Version). The MCCB should have Ics=100%Icu. The MCCBs shall have spreader links and barriers as standard feature of manufacturer
