REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROAD INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE IN AOR OF AGE B/R-II UNDER GE (S) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Material and labour for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all the loose dirt etc. including removing the mud etc. to a distance minimum 1.5 mtrs from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5Kg per X sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanism including supplying, laying, spreading 25 mm consolidated thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete grading 2, maximum aggregate size 9.5 mm, with job mix formula using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 5% binder content by weight of total mix using mechanical paver for levelling within the specified tolerance as specified in SSR Part-I, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 5% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 5% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 5%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 50/- per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing charges shall be borne by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

Repairs to potholes not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen (VG-10), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen (VG-30), blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed, depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm. Note as per MORTH Specification: (i) Loose material and standing water shall be brushed from the area to be repaired. (ii) Potholes shall be cut to vertical sides and deepened to reach sound material . (iii) Fill the patch with the granular mix in layers of about 75mm at a time. Each layer shall be compacted with hand rammers or with small vibratory compactors. The patch shall be compacted to the correct shape. (iv)100% quantity of Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work. (v) Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be including of supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings

Material and labour for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all the loose dirt etc.including supplying, laying and spreading upto 75mm thick or less ( consolidated thickness) premix bituminous macadam (BM) filling in depression grade 2 (using 19.2 mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer with using mechanical paver using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 3.4 % by weight of total mix with job mix formula, laid / rolled and compacted/ consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 3.4% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 3.4% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 3.4%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 50/- per Kg. M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, marking etc of thermoplastic paint applied Min 6 Kgs /Sqm on new surfaces or previously treated road surfaces with hot applied reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (White / Golden yellow) conforming to MORT&H (clause 803.4) all as specified with 8% Type 1 glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160˚ C including cleaning and drying the existing road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint complete all as specified and directed. Make : Automark or equivalent make given in Appx 'B'. Note: Thermoplastic paint should be applied Minimum 6Kg/Sqm

S&F in repairs two way (dual direction) reflective road studs (Cat eye) of polycarbonate moulded body of dimensions 100mm x 110mm x 20 mm with red / yellow /amber reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cat eye without applying excessive pressure and additional fixed with 12 mm dia and 120 mm long zinc plated steel nail at the centre of cat eye complete all as specified and directed.(Model No DA-52 of Dark eye or equivalent model of 3M/Greenlite)

S&F in repairs solar road stud having 3 LED of colour Red/Yellow to a side (total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of size 125 x 125mm or 120 x 130mm with built in stem of suitable length for fixing with epoxy, LEDs solar cells battery & light sensor well protected inside under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet top system, workable for 2-3 days (night) after full charge in 8 to 10 Hrs. (Cat part No GPL-03-01 SRSBN of Make Greenlite or equivalent Make of 3M/ Dark eye

S&F in repairs dual direction delineator on powder coated steel pipe of 900 to 1000 mm height with two Nos high performance 100mm dia reflectors and two rectangular reflectors of 70mm x 23mm are fixed on both sides of guide post . Reflector are positioned at the best eye guiding level and fixing in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm deep including excavation and earth work in any strata complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: - The rate of PCC & earth work is included in the unit quoted rate. (Cat part No DA-74 of make Dark Eye or equivalent make of 3M/Greenlite)

S & F for Convex Mirror of 1000mm dia made from long life poly carbonate with strong impact resistant and shattler proof fitted with a sun shield or protective hood of colour as approved by GE and 75 mm dia MS pipe duly painted of approved colour of suitable length as directed including fixing in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 450x 450x600mm deep including excavation and earthwork complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge

M & L for frame work for sign board or any other structure/ position made out of stainless steel chromium plated round/ square pipes 304 grade, cut to shape including bending, welding, drilling, gusset plates and riveting complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Rate is including for necessary accessories required at site including leg/ post embedded in PCC block of size 40cm x 40cm x 50 cm in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate including necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply and fixing in new sign board aluminium composite panel sheet 3mm thick used for informatory/ cautionary/ warning sign board for road safety features etc, fitted / framed in steel pipe frame including fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. Note:- Steel frame, legs, letter writing shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Material and labour for writing letter or figures arrows, Bldgs/ colony layout computer cut (Block Roman), italic or Indian) width 25mm and height as directed by Eng-in-Charge, made out of ertry reflective luminious tape as per IRC standard, in approved colour, pasted firmly without appearance/ sign of bubbles on aluminium sheet complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M & L for preparation of old decorated plasterd or concrete surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying pavement / kerb marking paint conforming to IS-164 including preparation of old surfaces in different tint complete all as specified and directed.

S & F dual directional rumble strip of high impact resistant ABS plastic body of size 275mm length X 150mm wide X 25-30mm height having 2 micro prismatic polycarbonate reflectors to one side (04 nos on both side) fixed with bolts and adhesive complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. Cat part GPL-07-03 of Greenlite or equivalent Make of 3M/Dark eye.

S & F in repair to Road Speed breaker having high intensitie cube corner ferlector, high impact resistent ABS plactic body of size 250mm x 345mm x 50mm (height) fixed with bolts and adhesive complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. (Cat part No GPL-07-06 of green light or equivalent Make of 3M/Dark eye.

S&F reflective tape 50mm wide of Red and yellow color fixed to steel/concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

S & F 600 mm long dual directional delinetor made of 18 guage MS rectangular of size 75x25mm. Pipe powder coated, head made out of ABS Plastic rectangular moulded with falt face provided with hight intensity prismatic reflectors of colour (White / yellow/ red) of size 100x125mm with additional with reflective strips of 25mm wided and fixed with cement concrete 1: 2:4 with size of block 300x300x350mm deep incl earthwork complete all as specified and directed.

S & F flexible median marker thermoplastic body fixed with screws/ nuts as per manufacturer's instructions of Make 3M Cat Part No. IDIE10160781 or Dark Eye Cat part No. DA72 or equivalent make as approved complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Cost of Material & Labour as recommended by manufacture or as per site requirement to fix median marker is deemed to be included in quoted rate. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Note:- (i) The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ (ii) Page No. 128 of tender documents will be uploaded by the bidders duly filled alongwith cost of tender documents and application otherwise the bid will be rejected.
