E-Tender for Repairing of ZF Make propulsion unit,Type ZFAT2111WM FP of vessel MPT Lala Lajpat Rai for the FY 2026-2027

Work includes carrying out detailed onboard inspection,condition assessment, and identification of defects; dismantling; repair/rectification/refurbishment; reinstallation; alignment; commissioning; testing; and successful performance of 02 Nos. ZF Marine Azimuth Thruster Units (Make: ZF Marine, Type: ZFAT 2111 WM FP, Power: 200 kW, Input Speed: 1800 RPM, Reduction Ratio: 2.42:1, Serial Nos. 13001 08 2012 01 & 13001 08 2012 02, Weight: 1300 kg, Year of Manufacture: 2012) fitted onboard MPT Lala Lajpat Rai, complete. The scope includes all mechanical, hydraulic, control, lubrication, and sealing systems. The thruster units are coupled with the vessel’s main propulsion engines (Make: Cummins, Model: NT-855, BHP: 270, RPM: 1800). The units were originally manufactured by ZF Marine Middle East LLC, Sharjah, UAE.

Scope of work Dismantling of thruster units along with all associated systems and components for detailed examination and repair. Repair & Refurbishment Carrying out all necessary repair, rectification, and refurbishment works, including mechanical components (gears, shafts, bearings, housings, etc.), hydraulic and control systems, and sealing arrangements. Lubrication System Overhaul Overhauling of lubrication system including flushing, cleaning, and oil treatment/replacement. Reinstallation & Commissioning Reinstallation of thruster units after repair, including proper alignment, assembly, and commissioning onboard. Testing & Performance Testing and trials to ensure satisfactory operation and restoration of full operational efficiency of both thruster units. Under the supervision of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and in accordance with the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour charges ( for dismantling, repair, testing, and reinstallationmobilization/demobilization, and service engineer fees)

cost of spares, consumables, replacement or refurbishment components, transportation, machining, etc., shall be payable on an actual basis plus 10%
