Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. a) All kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials. A) Ordinary or hard rock.

Excavating holes more than 0.10 cum & upto 0.5 cum including getting out the excavated soil, then returning the soil as required in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc, disposing of surplus excavated soil, as directed within a lead of 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.(a) All kinds of soil

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : a) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : a) 1:5:10 (1 Cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights: a) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level. A) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D or more.

Providing and fixing carbon steel galvanised (minimum coating 5 micron) dash fastener of 10 mm dia double threaded 6.8 grade (yield strength 480 N/mm² ), counter sunk head, comprising of 10 m dia polyamide PA 6 grade sleeve, including drilling of hole in frame, concrete/ masonry, etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (a) 10 x60 mm

Cutting holes up to 30x30 cm (or equivalent area) in walls including making good the same:With common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks

Supplying at site, anchor bolts ( for fixing base of tower) made from Mild steel rods (as per IS 2062) of approved make (TATA,JINDAL or equivalant) of dia 32mm dia of requried length 900 mm (shown as per drawing ),threaded up to 150mm from top and welded with 10 mm MS Plate of size 100X100 mm at bottom including suitable l nuts & check nuts and M.S. spring washers with primer etc all complete as per firection of engineer in charge.

Transportation and carriage of template assembly for 40m steel tower from BSNL Civil Sub Division Pune to work site and returning back to BSNL Civil Sub Division Pune, including loading, unloading, stacking and keeping in safe custody till consumption in work all as per direction of the Engineer - in - Charge.

Fixing bed plates, templates and anchor bolts etc. for stem of tower foundation including necessary scaffolding, working platform alround the perphery of the columns for checking and fixing of bolts,templates upto height of 2.3 Mtr, accurate positioning, levelling etc. and maintaining the position and level till casting of RCC work of columns is over and applying grease to the exposed portion as protection from rusting,etc all complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge.(Bed plates, templates etc. to be supplied by the department free of cost.) (Note:- Any variation in centre to centre distance of anchor bolt from drawings after casting of concrete,may require dismantling and recasting of columns for accurate positioning of anchor bolts at the cost of agency).

Erection of 40 metre height Tower as per approved Drawing and specification with all its necessary components which includes Anetena Fixtures, Carrier and fastnings, Gantry, Cable feeder Rack, Resting and working platforms with Hand Rails, wave guide Rack & Support, Ladders, Climbing Ladders, platform with railing and fixing with Galvanised bolts, nuts & spring washer, necessary welding whereever required including acceptance testing etc. complete in all respect as per direction of Engr-In-charge. ( The item will be measured after successful completion of A/T by the BSNL competent authority. A/T equipments likes Binoculars, Torque wrench of all sizes, Theodolite, shall be arranged by the Agency) (Note: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower including hire and labour charges of tools, plants and machineries, all insurance premium of labours/ third party , AT etc complete and nothing extra will be paid.Note:- (i) Tower materials including all the members, bolts & nuts will be supplied by BSNL free of cost. (ii) Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower including hire charges of tools, plants and machineries etc. and is inclusive of cost of all type of labours including skilled, unskilled, highly skilled labours, technicians etc. with insurance premium of all the workers employed by the agency and also incudes straightening of any bent tower materials,matching holes of members/gusset plates and nothing extra will be paid on any account whatsoever. (iii) The erected tower will have to meet the tower erection standards of the department and any deficiency/ discrepancy/ deviation in erected tower pointed out by the testing authority during acceptance testing (A/T) of the same, will have to be rectified. (iv) Tower Erection may be carried out in habitant area; hence the agency has to ensure extreme precaution during the execution of the work to prevent any accident/ injury/ harm/ damage to any human or animals or property or trees and plants etc. at all cost. If any mishap happens due to negligence of the agency, he will be held sole responsible for the damage and will have to face the law and bear the cost as well.

Painting with High Gloss Synthetic Enamel paint (Asian Apcolite / Shalimar/Berger ) in two or more coat on Tower . The colour of painting shall be of International white & orange. The painting should b e done in accordance with IS 1477 part - I & II . The rate includes painting of all the members such as platform, bracing, ties, strut, wave guide, antena and it"s fixtures, lugs, gusset plate, angle, bolts etc. complete including making necessary arrangement of safety belts, helmets to labours.

Fabricating and supplying of hot dip galvanised iron of minimum 85 microns structural member as per IS- 4759 such as angles, channels, welded lugs, platform, ladder wave guide rack, antenna fixtures, pipe stand for lightening arrester, templates, base plates, cable tray, runway etc.of required length shape and size including drilling holes for bolts etc. in exact conformity with the approved drawings and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge as per required drawing for mobile tower . All sections are stampped with appropriate Mark Number etc. complete as directed by Engr-in- Charge. NOTES: 1. All tower materials shall be hot dipped Galvanised (Galvanising shall not be less than 85 micron) . The tower materials, fabrication and galvanizing shall be as per relevant BIS and SERC specifications. 2. Measurements: Weight of individual member shall be worked out on the basis of linear measurements and standard coefficients or actual weight. Nuts, bolts and washers shall be measured for payment. NOTES: 1. All tower materials shall be hot dipped galvanized. The tower materials, fabrication and galvanizing shall be as per relevant BIS and SERC specifications. 2. Measurements:Weight of individual member shall be worked out on the basis of linear measurements and standard coefficients. Nuts, bolts and washers shall be measured for payment.

P/F of G.I.sheet pressed in required profile for waveguard on horizantal runway including jointing with nut bolting ,rivetting as required by Engineer in charge.

Transportation of 40 Metre tower material (Approx. 10.50 MT weight) from existing location to new location (upto 500 metre.) including loading, transportation from store to site,unloading, carriage from road side to work site & stacking the same, making security arrangement against theft/ loss etc., allied activities all complete as per the directions of the Engineer-incharge.

Supplying & laying Charcoal required for Ring earth as per specification given by the Department in excavated trench in layers of required thickness below and above GI strips as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Supplying & spreading crystal salt required for Ring earth as per specifications given by the Department in excavated trench mixed with charcoal below and above GI strips as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing lead strips of size 50X50X1 mm at joints of GI earthing strips as per direction of Engineer In Charge.

Supplying fixing hot deep galvanised GI flats, plates, nut bolts for tower earthing complete, as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Dismantling 40 M GBT Tower (Appxoximate weight 10.50 MT) including safe removal of the tower members & nutbolts washers ,all antenas etc.all complete as directed by the engineer in charge. (Note: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in dismantling and taking tower material at ground for sorting purpose including hire and labour charges of tools, plants and machineries, insurance premium of labours, etc and nothing extra will be paid. Tower dismantling is to be carried out in habitant area all care in this regard taken if any mishap happens agency will be sole responsible for any type of damage to humans, property, animals and Agriculture/trees in premises of work area.

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge

Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional areaof R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineer -in -charge.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineerin- charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: a) Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture.

Providing framework of structural angles or tubes welded with gusett plate and bolted riveted at site inclusing cutting bending to form a enclosure for housing BTS/BATTERY/POWER PLANT etc. The framework shall be ereted and bolted to exissting Concrete plinth. ( No electricity is available at site or nearby and contractor has to make his own arrangement for it)

Providing and fixing ISI marked oxidised M.S. sliding door bolts with nuts and screws etc. complete : a) 300x16 mm

Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm made of G.I. wire of dia 2.0 mm including cutting to required size and shape /welding to frame work of structural steel work of MS angle and flats fixed with welding and or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and welding of box hinges 100 mm size by welding to the gate channels etc. all complete as directed by the engineer in charge.

Credit for old reinforcement.
