REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY, UNSERVICEABLE EARTHING AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT SHIBPUR AND LAXMIPUR AREA UNDER GE (SOUTH) DIGLIPUR.

M&L for Chemical earthing complete with copper earth plate of size 900x600x5mm thick burried in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.5 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level with a bottom layer MG SO4 of 150mm thick earth plate surrounded with graphite powder, vegitable soil mixture with bentonite in equal proportion, charcoal and common salt in equal proportion around and 150mm above the plate and 150 mm thick MG SO4 as top layer and ramaining portion filled with compact black cotton /loomy soil and connected with copper strip 32x6mm duly brazed and by means of bolts, nuts and washers up to 7.5 mtr length and connected to earthing test point, GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for each lead protection and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering with funnel and wire mesh all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES SSR Part I 2009 and specified and testing on completion including provision of earth pit with necessary earth work , RCC (1:2:4) cover slab 50mm thick with reinforcement of 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm c/c both direction and PCC chamber with PCC (1:3:6) type-C2 including excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate eletrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filled in alternate layers and electrode connections by using Galvanised earth wire 4.00mm dia connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised iron or steel, provision of 15 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for protection of GI earth wire and 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering arrangement and PCC (1:3:6) , type C1 chamber, MS funnel, wire mesh, 50 mm thick RCC (1:2:4), typ- B1 earth pit cover with 6 Nos, 8 mm dia high strength deformed steel TMT bars on both ways including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surplus soil to distance n.exc. 50 mtr, provision of charcoal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of schedule Part-I, incl taking down old onecomplete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrod 60cmx60cmx60mm thick buried directly in ground ( each pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level) with Top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, including provision of galvanised earth strip 32x6 mm connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron steel, provision of 40mm dia GI pipes medium grade for earth wire protection connected from earth plate electrode to main switch board, provision of 15 mm dia GI pipe perforated medium medium grade for glatering arrangement and PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, MS funnel, wire mesh, 50 mm thick RCC (1:2:4) type B1 for earth pit. Cover with 6 No's 8 mm dia high strength deformed steel TMT bars on both ways, including test terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze 75x75x25 mm and drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8 mm dia, 25 mm long at hexa head screw also necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc. 50 mtr, provision of char coal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of scedule Part-1 of 2009 complete all as specified and as directed and Testing on completion.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit /pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc., as required with 32x6mm copper strip complete all as specified andas directed.

M&L for galvanised steel tubes light grade 80 mm dia for protection of copper strip complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Earth work and cutting of road required for under grounding the GI pipe is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8mm dia 25mm hex head screw complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Copper strip 20 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground including taking down with all fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron strip 32 x 6mm buried in ground or fitted with wall/Pole including taking down with all fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Aluminium iron strip 25 x 3 mm including taking down with all fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire complete all as specified and as directed.
