Maintenance of poly raised saplings of size 9"x6" at Haryachak Nursery of Research Forest Division, Jammu during 1st year.

A) De-weeding/ cleaning of polybags, seed germination units, berms, paths, roads and beds from any unwanted growth and its disposal up to composite pits. B) Supply/applying of urea as per requirement (minimum four times) in twelve months to provide nitrogen to plants to promote their growth. C) Regular watering as per requirement and cleaning of water channels. D) Spraying of fungicide/ pesticides as per requirement. E) Re-sowing of seeds in failed polybags including cost of seeds/ cuttings/ transplants and labour as per requirement. F) Care of new germination/ germinated seedlings including by providing thatching/ shade net wherever necessary. G) Cost of diesel/ petrol for irrigation by fuel driven motor. H) Shifting and grading of polybags as per requirement under directions of supervisory staff. I) Dressing of bunds/ boundaries of plots/ paths including general maintenance to keep the plants and the nursery in a hygienic condition and free from diseases and/or insect pests through physical/ chemical/ biological methods.
