Demolition of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in floors, laid bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed.

Soling (or sub base)150 mm thick (spread thickness) with broken boulders or quarried stone (Sand stone, Flint or quartzite) of gauge 40mm to 80mm deposited spread levelled in one layer inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber well rammed with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified.

150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two separate layers each layer of 75mm thickness with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) of Granite,Trap-Basalt for first layer and of grading 3 (50mm to 20 mm size ) for second layer ( surface of each layer will be blinded with screening and moorum, watered consolidated and compacted separately), , spread, rolled and consolidated top to required gradient and camber using granite trap or basalt stone with 8 to 12 tonne roller complete all as specified and directed.

75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in single separate layer with grading 3 (50mm to 20 mm size ) ( surface of each layer will be blinded with screening and moorum, watered consolidated and compacted separately), , spread, rolled and consolidated top to required gradient and camber using granite trap or basalt stone with 8 to 12 tonne roller complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags and air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc.and applying a tack coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm for premix bituminous carpet all as specified .

Preparing old black top surfaces / Bituminous Macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags and air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc.and applying a tack coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm for premix bituminous carpet all as specified and directed

Providing and laying Premix Bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Thapar Insti. of Engg & Tech. Patiala/ NIT Kurukshetra/ PEC Changigarh/ CTL for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 42/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 3. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.

Providing and laying Premix Bituminous macadam of consolidated thickness 25mm to 50mm, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 as binder content of 4% by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher (Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using B.M.) and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 504 MoRTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 4% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CI. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BM shall be worked out from Thapar Insti. of Engg & Tech Patiala/NIT Kurukhshetra /PEC Chandigarh/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs. 42/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within in a maximum of 48 hours. If ther is any delay by the contractor, the course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of Clause 512 of MORTH (5th Rev) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area exc 400 sqm and exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep complete all as specified.
