87743 REPAIRS AND RESURFACING OF ROADS AT ZONE A B AND C OF INS RAJALI UNDER GE (M) NAS ARAKKONAM

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfaces in road, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush or mechanical broom or high pressure jet for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-30 grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix by hot mix process laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber for a consolidated thickness of 75 mm or less ( for camber correction) complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for Bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix by hot mix process laid and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform, smooth surface with power roller 8 to 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for applying 2.5 mm thick retro reflective paint of specified shade/ colour etc., either continuous or broken lines, to the required width and length over the existing painted surface/ new bituminous surface with solvent based road marking paint (Retro reflective paint) Brand : Road King or equivalent brand approved by MORTH, IRTC and AAI including supply of paint material @ 5 Kg per Sqm and glass beads @ 0.35 Kg per Sqm (Reflective Index 1.5) using semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass bead dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater driven by experienced operator on road including all materials, labour, T&P and cleaning the road surface of dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign materials etc.complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in repair metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4(150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs, reflective cats eye with ABS material, body of size 90 mm x 110 mm x 17mm , with honeycomb patterned base, twin moulded shanks and two way retro reflective lenses, fixed with suitable adhesives on roads, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair polycarbonate convex mirror of size 800mm diameter duly plastic framed back covered and provided with holding clamp arrangement having wide field of vision exterior weather proof bright reflection, anti-glare & easy to maintain along with pole 75mm dia and 2 mtr long .including embedding in PCC 1:2:4(300x300x450mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in repair speed breaker of size 420mm width and height of 70-75mm rubberized, tough, strong, weather-resistant capable to withstand weight of vehicles, comprising of segments of colour black/yellow. Length of one segment shall be 490-500 mm and having 2x2=4 numbers glass reflective lenses suitable for fixing with 4 steel zinc plated 12x120mm nails, complete all as specified and directed
