Earth work in excavation for foundation trenches of walls, retain -ing walls, footings of columns, steps, septic tanks etc. including refilling (return filling) the quantity as necessary after completion of work, breaking clods in return filling, dressing, watering and ramming etc. and removal of surplus earth with all leads and lifts as directed and specified in following classification of soils including bailing out water where necessary as directed and specified. I) Upto a depth of 2m below the existing ground level . a) In ordinary soil

Providing and laying plain/reinforced cement concrete work with coarse sand & 20 mm down graded stone aggregate including dewatering if necessary and curing complete supply of materials but excluding cost of form work and reinfircement for reinforced cement concrete work ( form work and reinforcement will be measured and paid separately ) (I) Using mixture machine (A ) In sub-structure upto plinth level. WOOD WORK : Providing wood work in frames (chowkat) of doors, windows, clearstory windows and other similar works wrought, framed and fixed in position in contact with C.C. or brick masonry walls including supplying, fitting and fixing with nails, screws, bolts and nuts complete with M.S. plate hold fasts (4mm X 3mm X 250mm) as per design and embeded in cement concrete block in prop. 1:1:4 and with 2 coats of kiricide oiling to the timber faces in contact with C.C. and masonry as directed and specified. a) With sal wood

Providing and fixing flush door shutters solid core construction with frame of first class hard wood with cross bend and face veneered plywood face panels conforming to relevant I.S. Providing, fitting and fixing Coloured anodised aluminuim framed glazed doors with anodised aluminium frame made of 100mm x 45mm x 2.5mm section with door style of size 88mm x 45mm x 2.5mm, top rails 50mm x 45mm x 2mm lock rails 100mm x 45mm x 2mm and bottom rails 100mm x 45mm x 2.5mm fitted with glazing clip, special type rubber gasket complete including hydraulic floor spring, pivot, tower bolt in each leaf, aluminium door handle, lock, angles, cleat etc complete as specified and directed by the department at all levels. Providing, fitting and fixing aluminium curtain wall on the exterior face of building fitting to concrete member by drilling hole fixing by brass screw fabricated with anodised aluminium section of approved brand of size 101mm x 44.50mm by providing aluminium jointing angles including providing 6mm thick coloured reflectory type glass fitted with aluminium at all levels.

Supplying, fitting, fixing and painting where necessary (one coat primer and two coats of paint) M/F Suspended Ceiling which includes G.I. perimeter channels of size 0.55mm thick (having one flange of 20mm and another flange of 30mm and a web of 27mm) along with perimeter of ceiling, screw fixed to brick wall/ partition with the help of nylon sleeves and screws, at 610mm c/c. Then suspending G.I. intermediate channels of size 45mm (0.9mm thick with two equal flanges of 15mm each) from the soffit at 1220mm c/c with ceiling angle of width 25mmx10mmx0.55mm thick fixed to soffit with G.I.cleat and steel expansion fasteners. Providing and fixing Stainless Steel (Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, Channels, plates etc , including welding, grinding , buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts& bolts complete , i.e. fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash gasteners, stainless steel bolts etc of required size , on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer in charge.(For payment, only weight of stainless Steel member is to be considered. Applying primary coat over new steel and other metal surface over 100m in width or girth after preparing the surface by throughly cleaning oil,grease, dirt and other foreign matter and scoured with wire brushes, fine steels, wood scrapers and sand paper. a) With ready mixed red lead red oxide primer

Painting two coats ( excluding priming coat ) on new steel and other metal surfaces with enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture( Asian paint/Berger paint/ICI paint/ J &Npaint/Nerolac to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter . Painting two coats ( excluding priming coat ) on new wood and wood based surfaces with enamel paint to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of ditrt, dust and other foreign material , sand papering and stopping. Providing two coats of acrylic water based wall putty/ wall filter of Asian Paints/ Berger/Dulux (ICI)/ Nerolac over concrete/cement plaster/ brick walls ( internal )and after removing all the loosely adhering material from the wall/ceiling surface with the help of emerey stone ,putty blade or wire brush, moistening the wall with the help of sufficient quantity of clear water as specified and directed by the department.

c) Applying one coat of distemper primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surfaces after thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar drops and other foreign matter and including preparing the surface even and sand papered smooth.

Polishing with french sprit polishing on new wood and wood based surfaces to give an even surface including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust sand papered smooth and including a coat of wood filter

MISCELLANEOUS : Pre construction antitermite treatment at the bottom of foundation of foundation pits and walls on either side up to a height of 300m.m. from bottom of the excavation made for column ,plinth beam, wall trenches etc. by applying the emulsion @ 5 litres per sq.mt. Of the surface area before starting construction work( supplying of necesary tools and accessories by the contractor) as per the direction of the Department complete. a)with aquous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose solution (tricel or equivalent) and water ,I,e, 1% solution.

Providing plinth protection with bricks flat laid in cement mortar 1: 4 and finished with 15mm thick cement plaster in prop. 1:2 with a floating coat of neat cement finish.
