Comprehensive Maintenance of under mentioned EOT cranes, double girded, gear type with electric motor for long travel, hoist creep, control panels, protective panels, gear box, gantry rail, main switches, resistance coil, wire ropes, rope drum, brake control, cable and switches , servicing break drum cleaning , all electrical connection checking & connecting. Lubricating of all moving parts, cleaning of DSL, proper alignment of cable trolley, festoon cable system with minor spares of cost upto Rs 2000/- including consumable as and when reqd for smooth & proper function of EOT cranes including all periodical, preventive and breakdown maintenance to keep the crane operational round the clock by attending complaints/breakdowns immediately as & when informed by MES/User.

Note for Item No 2 to 4.04:- (i) Any major spares cost more than Rs 2000/- shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items as mentioned in Schedule 'A' Part II. However, the replacement cost of labour for spares deemed to be included in comprehensive maintenance schedule rate quoted by the contractor complete all as specified and directed at site by E-in-Cs. (ii) The rate is inclusive of all items as required at site except those items in Sch 'A' Part - II and other repairs mentioned under relevant Sch 'A' Part - I items below to keep the cranes operational round the clock including cleaning and greasing all moving parts on monthly basis complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iii) If spare parts of original make is not available in market necessary suitable spare equivalent to existing crane part as approved by Engr-in-charge shall be used in the work so that to run the crane with smooth functioning. (iv) The contractor should attend any complaint / breakdown immediately on call basis.. (v) Contractor should submit the inspection / maintenance report of every visit irrespective of no of visits during breakdown calls including mentioning the status of crane and spares any replaced. (vi) The old unserviceable spares replaced under comprehensive maintenance i.e in S. No 2 to 4 of above BOQ is the property of contractor. (vii) The unit rate quoted by the tenderer is deemed to be included in the cost of Oil, grease, cotton waste, lugs, small piece of wires/cables, nut, bolt and washers and T&P etc., complete. (viii) Monthly maintenance records must be maintained as directed by Engr-in-charge. (ix) In case of any crane not working for more than 48 hours and fault not attended, recovery shall be effected at Rs. 2000 /day.

Material and labour for carrying out load test on the following Cranes with 100% of full load capacity of crane on hoisting long travel and cross travel for checking the performance including loading, unloading and returning the test loads obtained from the concerned unit/firm and submission of test certificate to the department.

Note for Item No. 5 to 5.09 : The Unit Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be inclusive of the cost for arranging the load & load testing of each crane including required man power as recommended by manufacturer at 100 % of its capacity from authorised/ recognised by State/ Central Govt. agencies and testing to be carried out once during the current year contract.

Servicing and overhauling the existing Thruster motor 18 gauge Torque of any capacity of EOT cranes and replacement of worn out Ball Bearings including re-Filling of oil in correct level and ensure smooth functioning of Thruster motor complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-change.

Material and labour for removing the worn out brake liner and fixing of new brake liner of suitable size and thick up to 100mm to 250mm Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-change.

Material and labour for painting for EOT double girder travelling overhead system along with trolley, footpath, platform, railing system, ISMB (side girders) and it is connected item as fixing accessories (equipment complete for crane system by applying two coats of golden yellow, grey /smoke grey colour or existing sample with existing make painting as per existing type colour code with providing painting of synthetic enamel paint with scrapping of old rusted surface ad cleaning of old grease, soil dust particle material by manually with sand paper suitable for capacity 1 ton to 2 ton crane (span not more than upto 20 meters) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
