Material and Labour for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces with washing down soap water of runway, taxi track road for painting with mechanical mode of application as lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of runway road marking paint aqua based retroreflective type golden, yellow, black, orange or white colour as approved by Garrison Engineer to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Make: Asian Paint Apcotrak-WBR or equivalent Note :- Masking tape/ steel/ wooden frame or template should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor has to ensure that, the lines, dashes etc marked with paint shall be in proper shape and finish as required. Any errorneous marking shall be make good by the contractor on his own cost and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for one coat of black synthetic enamel paint on three sides of DTGM (1.20 x 1.50 Mtr) installed in airfield area consisiting of black synthetic enamel paint background and red colour retro reflective tape numerical/alphabet letter (150mm width and 1000mm height) on two sides complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for repair to broken/damage portion of concrete slab or pavement of surface area not exceeding 1 square metre by cutting damaged portion to slab/spoil edges to triangular / rectangular cross section and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Cutting/Scraping grass manually and removing material out side MOD land obtained from cutting and cleaning both side runway PTT near DTGM board complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Grass shall be cut and finished 10 mm to 25 mm above the existing ground level. (ii) All foreign materials (stone pieces etc) obtained during cutting of grass shall be removed from out side MOD land. (iii) Materials obtained from cutting of grass shall be removed out side of MOD land
Supply and running of grass mechanically operated tractor minimum 40 HP capacity alongwith including fuel / lubricants,operator,T &P for cutting of grass 50mm to 100mm or above and mechanically operated Slasher wherever required including removing of materials that obtained from cutting of grass to out side of MOD land and cleaning in both side with Grass cutting is to be done upto 100 metre from the edge of runway, taxi track and parking area using blade size 5-6 feet high corbon rotary type complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher (set of one tractor & jungle jeem) with POL & MT driver . The mechanical slasher will be in operation from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM (including lunch break of of 0.5 hour at mid day ) every day in week excluding sunday (holiday). However department will have the right to stop the work any time even in working day due to security point of view. one day shall be counted as 8 hours.
(ii) A log book/sheet shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (iii) Mechanical Tractor deployed shall not be more than 5 years old from the date of manufacturing. Contractor to provide the registration documents to Engr-in-Charge on this account. (iv) Actual working hours shall be calculated based on actual running of machinary as directed by Garrison Engineer and excluding of transit hours. (v) As per site requirement, contractor shall arrange more than one tractor with operator alongwith mechanical slasher. Seperate log book/sheet shall be maintained for each tractor. (vi) The rate quoted by contractor is including of all T & P , POL and operator mentioned above.
Material and labour for cutting of grass, shurbs, vegetation, bush, weed by bush cutter operated slasher where ever required including cleaning the bothe sides edges of runway / PTT removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The contractor shall arrange one brush cutter machine alongwith one operator and helper including POL etc. (ii) Site/area of grass cutting shall be handed over as and when on requirement basis. Contractor shall start the work immediatly whenever site is handed over to him. (iii) A log book shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment.
Complete removal of rubber deposits on Air Field pavements (Rigid/ Flexible) using non-intrusive high pressure water jet/ ultra high pressure water including vacumming system with suitable operating pressure so that the total rubber deposits are removed from runway both (rigid/flexible) surface without use of any chemical & no damage to the existing surface. Total rubber deposit should be removed the Debris/ water to be vaccumed simultaneously leaving no FOD so that Runway is available for operation immediately. Rubber deposit debris should be in solid form when finally disposed etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Rate deemed to be included for any repair work required for any type of damage to surface/joints etc. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
M&L for preparing of old black top surfaces by brooming with wire brushes for removing cakes mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with the use of air blowers to remove all loose dirt etc complete and applying cold polymer modified emulsion (PME) by spraying with machine of total cold liquid PME @ 0.89 litre per Sqm (undilutaed) for two coats with mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME: Water) and ensure uniform finish of PME on runway complete all as per manufacturer instructions and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- The tenderer shall take following points into consideration and are deemed to be included in quoted rates:- (i) Due care shall be taken for friction parameter during application of PME as per ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) standard. (ii) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicator of PME manufacturer.
(iii) A performance guarantee certificate for 3 (three) years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified. (iv) Application of PME shall be done by flooding and wiping in both first coat and second coat with the help of wiper or as directed by the manufacturer. (v) Application of PME shall be done under the supervision of manufacturer's technical experts. (vi) Skid resistance test (Dry and wet condition) in every 5000 Sqm area of runway shall be carried out before and after PME by the Govt approved lab/ by expert technician of PME manufacturer as directed by GE. (vii) PME required more/less than 0.89 litre/Sqm (undiluted) during execution of work as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge shall be measured and paid as supply only rate.
Cutting of existing Runway/taxi tracks at cracks and at spalled edges upto a minimum depth of 25 to 30mm by mechanical tools making groove at edges cleaning through air blower/air blastisng and applying propriety primer on the cleaned surfaces to obtain tack and finally filling in ELASTOMERIC CONCERETE (prepared by mixing part A, part B and adding fiberglass sand all as per manufactureres instructions) and properly mixing in purpose made mixer plant electrically operated) to obtain a homogeneous mix and finally tooling the surface with hand tools to obtain a grooved textured finish. Note: (i) The rate shall include for providing masking tape at joints and form work required if any at spalled joints edges. (ii) The quoted rate deemed to include for making good the disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied. (iii) All material shall only be procured directly from manufacturer.

Cutting of existing Runway Dense Asphaltic concrete layer 100mm deep and 150mm wide along the width of runway with cutter machine/ grinder in rectangular cross-section and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and re- filling the cutted portion of runway with new layer of DAC (Dense asphaltic concrete) including priming/ tack coat of bitumen VG-10 at rate of 5kg/ 10Sqm as per specifications of runway top layer duly joined the adjoining surface of runway. Rolling of the filled layer of DAC with 8-12 tonne roller shall be done to achieve finished surface complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing in repair top board sheet of light signage board fixed on links/ end of runway of area upto 1.60 Sqm. The board shall consist high glossy acrylic panel in 4 layers 1.50mm each with different colors (red/ black/ yellow/ transparent) with different letters/numbers cutted and sticked together to make link sign board meeting the specifications of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation). This item shall include opening of existing light signage board and replacing the faded top sheet of board with new four layered sign board and fixing the opened parts is in its original place. Note: This item shall deemed to be included following: (i) The letters/ numbers shall be approved in designated design as per dirns of Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Rubber gasket fixed in board shall be changed if required as per dirns of Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Any part/ component of sign board damaged during this work shall be replaced by contractor and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) (PQC graded) as in floor and paving exceeding 150mm thickness below or above ground floor with concrete breaker/manually as required at site and removing rubbish out site MoD land complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) 150mm thick of minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 45kg/sq cm or 4.5 Mpa aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of curshed stone or gravel fine aggregate of clean natural sand or curshed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 400 kg/cum of cement with non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39 UV stable, alkali resistant with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240oC and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacture as per IS 16481:2016. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip form paver of minimum 7.50m width/fixed form paver, including curing and tining complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10 1 14 and Table 9 of IRC : 15-2017.
Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm have tack coaurse sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300mm.
Repair of cracks in Dispersal PQC slabs 1. Surface Preparation. Cleaning the cracks that have been contaminated to the extent it is possible and practical. The cracks should be cleaned and all the loose concrete if any, or plaster which sounds hollow when tapped shall be removed. Contaminants such as oil, grease, dirt, or fine particles of concrete prevent epoxy penetration and bonding, and reduce the effectiveness of repairs shall be removed as per the manufacturer recommendation. Ensure the crack areas should not have any visible dampness and must have surface mositure < 4%. 2. Fixing of Grouting Nozzle. All the cracks must be open wide and drill the holes of 6-10mm dia with atleast 50-75mm into the concrete. The nozzles shall be placed at at 300mm c/c using approved Epoxy Resin Mortar, an epoxy repair mortar system having compressive strength of 95MPa as per ASTM C109; Tensile Strength of 15MPa as per ASTM C307 and Flexural Strength of 30MPa as per ASTM C078. Ensure that the adhesive shall not block the drilled holes.
3. Injection Grouting using Low Viscous Epoxy Resin grout System Mix the two component, low viscous Resin & non pigmented Hardener liquid epoxy resin system having final compressive strength of 70MPa and curing time of 7 days. The Epoxy Resin system must be low viscous with high capillary action, non shrink and deep penetration with hard and abrasion resistant and shall be able to withstand loads and stress. Injection of the epoxy grout shall be done from the furthest point towards the center keeping regular eyes for resin coming for the next hole to avoid any wastage of material. Once the grouting is done and injected epoxy is cured, cut the nozzles and seal the holes with the ERM system.
M&L for 10 mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual , organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer as specified and directed. (No additional amount to be paid for overlap)
Taking down chain link fencing fixed to any type of standard rails, straining bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.
Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing, any size or type of minimum dia 3.15 mm or above as directed
Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standard rails, straining bolts etc.
M&L for mild steel round bar 10 to 12mm dia confirming Fe-410-W (Gde.E-250) Fe 290 (Gde - E-165) as in stiffeners to chain link fencing etc all as specified and directed.
