Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for poles, laying of electric cable and GI tubing (where provided for protection of cables) and getting out trimming the sides, forming bottom surface to required level in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per above item No. 1 but depth exc. 1.5 m but not exc. 3.00 m all as specified.

Returning, filling in , including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 centimetre thick after laying and testing of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for spread well dried sand cushioning in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Thickness of sand cushioning shall be measured punned thickness for the purpose of payment)

Supply & laying unreinforced precast concrete type 2 flat cable cover, class HV, type -1, flat, size 300 x 180 x 40 mm complete all as per SSR part-II.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, base of pole and struts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for feeder pillars, LT Panel and coping of poles including necessary form work and fair finished to exposed surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of under ground electric cable, XLPE sheathed HT 11000 volts earthed grade, heavy duty, armoured with aluminium multi stranded conductor cross sectional area of cable 120 Sqmm, 3 core conforming to IS laid in trenches, under floor, through the roads fixed along wall/pole/GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the existing HT UG cable of size upto 120 Sqmm x 3 core from existing two pole structure and rerouting in trenches / pipes/ pole up to new four pole structure and necessary connections and commissioning all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Excavation, earth work, and Jointing material, sand cushioning, cable protection cover will be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Material and labour steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial toper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-55 (11 mtr long) and providing two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer (up to full height of pole excluding the planting depth and portion embedded in PCC and copping) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Supply, fabricating and fixing mild steel cross arms bracings supports, D-clamps, back plates, clamps fabricated from structural steel section such as angle iron, channel, plate and flats etc including bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts , in any shape or size including two coats of synthetic aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of steel surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green 145 mm height and 255 mm dia ball and socket type single disk assembly for tension with tension clamp for conductor working pressure 11 KV grade complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing cable path indicator made of cast iron plate of size 150 mm dia and 4 mm thick indicating LT/HT cable. Cast iron path indicator shall be fixed on MS angle iron of size 30 mm x 30 mm x 6 mm and 900 mm long with two Nos, nuts and bolts of suitable size including PCC complete all as specified and directed.

M &L for GI pipe 100mm dia medium grade, for road crossing / on wall / on pole for cable protection .

Material and labour for cutting of bituminous road / floor for laying of pipe / cables not exceeding 20cm wide and not exceeding 45 cm deep including refilling with material and , watering well ramming / compacting and making good with premixed bituminous macadam, 150mm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix lightening arrester NON LINEAR RESISTER type, complete with all fittings, transmission classes, discharge capacity 65 Kilo amps suitable for 11 KV out door type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of switch air break gang operated triple pole mechanically operated mounted on HT insulator (09 insulator , Vertical type) and MS galvanised steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level including operating rod for current rating up to 400 amps, 11000 volts complete with 6 lever pad locking arrangements, MS Clamp, nuts, bolts and washers etc including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on MS work complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing of drop out fuses HT, 11 KV Triple pole, rating 100 amps with base frame and insulator complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fixing and testing of heat shrinkable end termination out door joint kit of 3 core 120 sqmm suitable for 11000 volt with accessories and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply, fixing and testing of heat shrinkable straight through joint kit of UG cable 3 core 120 sqmm suitable for 11000 volt with accessories and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Material and labour of aluminium conductor steel reinforced [ACSR] straining properly on insulators and binding with aluminium tape/binding wire, connectors, jumpers etc on two/four pole structures complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labours earthings complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm by 600 mm by 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) , surrounded from all direction with charcoal dust and salt in layers, the top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead and 40 mm bore GI pipe light grade for protection of GI strip. fixed by means of bolts, nuts and washers of galvanized iron and connected to earth test point and equipment and testing on completion including excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, PCC chamber in 1 :2:4 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, CI cover, 20 mm GI pipe light grade for watering, funnel, wire mesh complete all as specified and shown on electrical plate No 5 of MES Schedule Part ‘I’( 1991). Note - Cost of GI Strip up to 7.5 RM is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply & fix, connect GI Strip 32x6 mm for earthing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for danger notice plate size 25x20cm of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with suitable MS clamps, bolts and nuts all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 11 KV, 630 Amps, Extensible Outdoor Fixed Type (IP54), RMU (Ring main unit) 2-way comprising of manually operated Load Break Switch 630 Amps - 01 Nos, manual charging fixed-type Vacuum Circuit Breaker -01 Nos, inside robotically welded stainless steel 304 (Non Ferrite Non Megnetic Grade) tank having min. thickness 3+0.5 mm with IP 67 Degree of Protection. RMU should be provided with internal busbars, as well as earthing busbars of electrolytic grade copper, padlock provisions & complete with all accessories. RMU shall have on-site-repairability features such as site replacable bushing/coupling/mechanism and gas refilling at site. The earthing busbar shall be provided inside each cable compartment for solid earthing of Cable sheilds. The outer hinged main door should cover entire front of switchgear including cable doors for providing fail-safe protection. (x) Suitable site replacable Cable bushings situated not beyond 300mm from cable-cover to allow ease of access for installation/testing/ replacement purposes. (xi) Arc proof cable covers complete with self Interlocking mechanism between doors, earth switch, disconnector & VCB. (xii) Provision of suitable size of PCC platform for mounting the outdoor unit as per manufacturer instructions. Note :- (i) Inspection of RMU shall be carried out by the Representative of Accepting Officer at the factory site/premises before dispatch the unit as specified in particular specifications on the cost of contractor. (ii) All accessories required for fixing, testing and commissioning as per manufacturer standard is deemed to be included in the quotated rate by the contractor. (iii) Safety Interlocks Shall be provided as per relevant IEC/IS Standards and Manufacturers directions. (v) switchgear shall confirm to all relevant IEC/IS Standards. (vi) Vacuum interrupter should be of same make as RMU.
