Item No: 1.00 EARTH WORK (Refer Section 1.0 of Technical Specification)
Item No: 1.01 Excavation in ordinary soil (as defined in IS:1200) including clay, black cotton soil, soft & hard murrum, sand, gravel, soil containing small pebbles, rubble, boulders, removable without breaking / blasting, etc. which can be loosened manually or with mechanically operating tackles such as pick shovels, front loader etc. for all types of foundations / footings, plinth beams, pilecaps, underground piping or any other substructure; including removal of vegetation, shrubs, trees, etc., shoring, strutting, dewatering (BY SUITABLE METHOD LIKE PUMPING, WELL-POINT METHOD, etc.), backfilling with excavated earth including necessary compaction and disposal of surplus earth up to a distance of 1 KM from the nearest edge of excavation area. The rate shall include all tools, tackles, supervision, transport and incidental expense, etc. as per section 1 of Technical Specification, up to and including a depth of 2M below existing level.

Item No: 2.09 All activities and scope same as 2.03 but for concreting of Silo Roof Slab on metal deck sheet. Note: Metal deck sheet and supporting structural steel are measured and paid as per respective BOQ items.
Item No: 2.10 All activities same as 2.03 but for Liquid retaining structures by adding waterproof admixture of approved make including hydro-testing and stopping leakages by way of injection or pressure grouting. The cost of injection/pressure grouting, if required, to be considered by the Contractor at no extra cost to the Owner. Achieving water tight concrete is the responsibility of the Contractor.
Item No: 2.11 Providing and fixing wrought timber formwork for concrete elements like foundations, rafts, footing, pedestals, pile caps, plinth beams and tie beams at various levels below plinth and at required slopes as per drawing and specifications including materials, making, fixing, supporting maintaining and after concreting stripping at appropriate time, all as per Technical Specification Section 2.

Item No: 2.18 Providing pockets, holes, blockouts in concrete for bolts, embedments, sleeves etc. by using boxes of timber or any suitable material and removing the same at appropriate time without damaging the concrete, Pockets up to 200 x 200 x 750 deep in size.

The rate shall include all tools, tackles, labours, consumables etc.
Item No: 3.02 All activities same as 3.01 but in superstructures, walls, pillars, chambers, etc. in 1:5 C.M. including scaffolding, curing raking of joints etc., all as per Section-3 of technical specifications and at all heights.
Item No: 3.03 Supplying and applying 12mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:6 over interior surfaces of masonry and concrete including scaffolding, curing, finishing with lime Neeru at all heights as per Section-3 of technical specification. The rate shall include all tools, tackles, labours, consumables, etc.
Item No: 3.04 All activities same as 3.03 but for 6mm thick (in cement mortar 1:3) on ceilings, slab soffits, RCC etc.

Item No: 5.01 Providing and laying RCC flooring and grade slabs to proper grades and slopes as shown in the drawings, in panels of approved sizes, providing construction and expansion joints as per drawing including formwork, dressing and compaction of sub- grade, finishing, as specified, curing etc. BUT EXCLUDING REINFORCEMENT all complete as per section FIVE of technical specification for floors in concrete of grade M-30 with local thickeners as detailed in drawing. Rate shall include preparation of joints of all types, providing bitumen impregnated fibre board / Shalitex pad, polysulphide joint sealant on top of the board, tie-rods, mild steel dowel bars, compressible filler, PVC end cap, complete as per drawing.

Item No: 5.10 GRANITE WALL CLADDING: Stone work 18 to 20 mm thick (machine cut edges) for wall lining etc. (veneer work) upto 10 metre height, backing filled with a grout of average 18 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) including pointing in white cement mortar 1:2 (1 white cement : 2 stone dust) with an admixture of pigment matching the stone shade : (To be secured to the backing and the sides by means of cramps and pins. The cramps shall be in stainless steel of required size and shape for anchoring stone wall lining to the backing and/ or securing adjacent stones in stone wall lining in cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand), including making the necessary chases in stone and holes in walls wherever required. The Item includes making V Grooves and half sets at the joints and including the cost for scaffolding required etc. complete.
Item No: 5.11 GRANITE CILLS FOR WINDOWS: Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for window sills , facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels.

Supply of all Structural Steel of minimum 250(Fe410W) Quality A conforming to IS 2062 or British Universal Beams, Columns and Plates – Grade 275JR/JO and S355JO to BS EN 10025 (as per availability) shall be by Contractor.
Item No: 7.01 Supplying, fabricating, blasting, painting, erecting and aligning of STRUCTURAL STEEL including semi built-up sections as per drawing including tools, tackles, cutting, welding, consumables, assembly, bolts, permanent bolts of grade 8.8 (galvanized turned & fitted bolts), preparation of fabrication drawings for all types of structures in buildings, pipe racks, platforms and towers or any other structure as specified by Client / tkIS India. Note: 1. Rate shall include 3D model developed in TEKLA by contractor for preparation of fabrication drawings for Steel Structures. 2. Fabrication to be done in fabrication shop established by contractor or vendor approved by Client / tkIS India. 3.Rate shall be inclusive of transportation, unloading, storage, handling, preservation of fabrication items from the Workshop to site. 4.Contractor shall submit a detailed methodology for erection of structural steel for approval by Client / tkIS India before commencement of erection. 5. Rate shall be inclusive of a) blast cleaning with compressed air and blasting gun conforming to Swedish standard SA 2½. including all tools and tackles, compressor, etc. b) Providing and applying epoxy painting system on steel surfaces consisting of one primer coat of Zinc Dust/ Ethyl Silicate Primer as per SSPC Paint 20 Level 2 / 1 x 75 μm DFT (80% zinc on dry film) %Volume Solid : Min 65,Zinc should be min 1.4 kg/ litre. The product to be supplied with ASTM D520 Type II zinc dust. one intermediate coat of Epoxy Polyamide Intermediate coat with Lamellar Micaceous Iron Oxide - Min VS 80% / 1 x 120 μm DFT and one final coat of Inert Pigment / Acrylic Aliphatic PU paint with 80% gloss retention on exposure to 1000 hrs of QUV B 313 / 1 x 60 μm DFT; % Volume Solid : 58+/- 2, Gloss of min. 80 units @60 o gloss head ; including all tools, tackles, scaffolding all complete

Item No: 7.06 Supplying, fabricating, installation of INSERT PLATES, Puddle flange and other concrete embedments including cutting, welding, welding of lugs, tools, tackles, consumables and installing at all heights and depths. Note: The embedments shall be blast cleaned and painted over external surface with RED Oxide (35 Micron DFT) and final two coats of approved quality plastic / acrylic emulsion paint for protection against corrosion.

Item No.-16 :Piling Works BORED CAST IN SITU CONCRETE PILES
Item No.-16.01: NOTE:Provide and supply materials for Piling like 53 grade Cement, reinforcement etc. all complete. Mobilisation of all necessary plants, equipments, properly calibrated instruments, Hydraulic piling rigs and hammers, trucks, cranes and other necessary modes of transport for material handling, supply of materials to be furnished by Contractor, posting qualified personnel, skilled and unskilled labour etc. to site of work, arranging kentledges and all other equipments, set ups required for conducting the various types of pile load tests, setting up properly equipped material/concrete testing laboratory, insurance, erecting and commissioning all plants and equipment essential for operating the contract. Rate shall also include various designs of concrete mixes, that may be required from time to time, mobilisation & demobilisation of all equipment required for timely completion of scope of work. (Bidder shall submit details of driving equipment and list of all equipment including pile hammers and rigs, cranes etc). Contractor shall also indicate the number of piling rigs cranes etc. (all in working condition) that he proposes to bring to site from time to time to execute and complete the work. The Contractor shall provide along with the bid, guarantee for pile load carrying capacities as mentioned in the tender. In case the Contractor differs on these capacities, the justification for same along with supporting calculations shall be provided for approval of Client / Consultant. Also piling method statement shall be submitted for approval of Client / Consultant, cost included in the piling item. Rate shall include use of casings wherever required for boring through loose / soft soils.
Item No.-16.03: Forming vertical piles by boring through all kinds of soils including hard murum with gravel and rock fragments including occasional boulders by appropriate method using Bentonite slurry technique/bailer boring as specified, for various lengths from tip to cut off elevation of piles, filling the bore with M-30 grade concrete, using ordinary portland cement, as shown and called for on the drawings or as instructed by the OWNER/ENGINEER, with a minimum cement content of 400 Kg/cu.m. of concrete and with water cement ratio including the water contained in the aggregates not exceeding 0.45, etc. all as specified, inclusive of concreting minimum 600mm above specified cut off elevation of piles, cutting off piles at the specified level cutting / chipping off piles to specified cut off level, exposing of the rebars etc, etc. complete in all respects. Initial lead for disposal of bored / excavated / chipped material shall be 1000 M (NOTE: Empty boring, if any and reinforcement shall be measured separately). THE ABOVE TO BE EXECUTED FOR 1000 MM DIA. PILE. (for pile length of 0-10m from cut off elevation of piles to Pile Toe).

LOAD TESTING ON PILES : A. INITIAL LOAD TESTS
Item No.-16.19: Carrying out initial cyclic vertical load test on single vertical test pile as per IS-2911 with loading equal to two and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including necessary arrangements such as jacks, measuring devices, structural frame work for platform, kentledge, all complete as required. Providing and installing test piles shall be measured and paid separately for 1000 mm dia. bored cast-in-situ piles.

Item No.-16.23: Carrying out initial pull out load test on vertical test piles as per IS:2911 (Type of loading shall be as per cyclic loading method) with loading equal to two and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including all activities as mentioned in Item No. 16.19 for 1000 mm dia. pile.
B. ROUTINE LOAD TESTS
Item No.-16.25: Carrying out routine cyclic vertical load test on single vertical working pile as per IS 2911 with loading equal to one and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including all necessary arrangements such as jacks, measuring devices, structural framework for platform, kentledge, all complete as required for 1000 mm dia. pile.
Item No.-16.27: Carrying out routine cyclic lateral load test on vertical piles as per IS:2911 with loading equal to one and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including all activities as mentioned in 16.25. For this test, two working piles shall be used and jacked apart. Both piles shall be considered as test piles. The lateral deflection of both the piles shall be recorded. However, testing both these piles shall be considered as one test, for 1000 mm dia. piles.
Item No.-16.29: Carrying out routine pull out load test on vertical working piles as per IS:2911 (Type of loading shall be as per cyclic loading method) with loading equal to one and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including all activities as mentioned in 16.25 for 1000 MM DIA. PILE.
Item No.-16.31: Making preparation and carrying out Pile integrity test (NDT) using High sensitive accelerometer or equivalent through specialist approved agency, in consultation with Owner / Consultant and submitting the report including site mobilization, dewatering, chipping, building up of piles, clearing & preparing top surface of pile, etc., as required for testing and submitting the report to Owner / Consultant for approval for all lengths for 1000 mm dia. Pile
Item No.-16.32: Any chipping & crushing of pile required due to design change, including all tools, tackles, compressed air, labour, consumables and disposal of debris as directed within a lead of 1000 M from site.
Item No.-16.33: Drilling / boring minimum 100mm dia. exploratory bore hole upto 10m depth including all tools, tackles, lobour, consumables all complete, in case rock / boulder is encountered during piling activity.
Item No: 19.00 19. CAVITY FLOOR AND FALSE CEILING (Refer Section 19.0 of Technical Specifications)
Item No: 19.01 Providing and installing of removable type aluminium false ceiling system for horizontal inclined and vertical comprising of square edge plane panels, 84mm wide x 15 mm deep with 25mm recessed flanges, formed out of 0.5 mm thick aluminium alloy electrically powder coated in standard colour shades as approved by the engineer as approved by the in charge. The panels shall be fixed on formed carriers, 15 mm wide at top 43 mm deep made out of 0.19 mm thick aluminium alloy electrically powder coated in stain black with protruding ears to hold panels in module of 100 mm, with 16 mm gap between the panels, carrier spacing shall be maximum 1.3 M c/c.
Item No: 19.03 MOISTURE RESISTANT FALSE CEILING: Providing and fixing false ceiling at all height including providing and fixing of frame work made of special sections, power pressed from M.S. sheets and galvanized with zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm (both side inclusive) as per IS : 277 and consisting of angle cleats of size 25 mm wide x 1.6 mm thick with flanges of 27 mm and 37 mm, at 1200 mm centre to centre, one flange fixed to the ceiling with dash fastener 12.5mm dia x 50 mm long with 6 mm dia bolts, other flange of cleat fixed to the angle hangers of 25x10x0.50 mm of required length with nuts & bolts of required size and other end of angle hanger fixed with intermediate G.I. channels 45x15x0.9 mm running at the rate of 1200 mm centre to centre, to which the ceiling section 0.5 mm thick bottom wedge of 80 mm with tapered flanges of 26 mm each having lips of10.5 mm, at 450 mm centre to centre, shall be fixed in a direction perpendicular to G.I. intermediate channel with connecting clips made out of 2.64 mm dia x 230 mm long G.I. False Ceiling material shall be 12.5 mm thick tapered edge gypsum moisture resistant board.
Item No: 19.05 CAVITY FLOOR - CEMENTATIOUS TILES: Providing & Installation of Access raised floor shall be medium, grade Unifloor FS 800 / or equivalent with point load 3.6 KN / over 25mm sq. and UDL of 12 KN / m2 ; panels manufactured from steel with lightweight cementitious core in the size 600 x 600 x 35 mm. The panel shall be finished with high abrasion, anti-static HPL with Surface resistively in ohms - 1 x 10 to the fifth power - 1 X 10 to the ninth power ; Volume resistivity - 1 x 10 to the fifth power to 1 x 10 to the eighth power in size 600mmX600mmX1.60mm, cut at 45 degree along every edge of the panel to avoid edge chipping, breakages, pealing of beadings, lateral deflections & scratching between two panels The bottom of the panel shall be embossed in hemispherical shape to give strength and flexural rigidity. The entire panel shall be finished with electro deposition of cathodic epoxy paint on the exposed surface for lifetime protection. The panel has to be placed on the pedestal made from all steel zinc plated construction. Pedestal assembly shall provide for easy adjustment of levelling and accurately align panels to ensure lateral restrain. Pedestal head shall be designed to avoid rattle or squeaks. The steel base plate of the pedestal shall be fixed on to the sub-floor with epoxy pedestal adhesive and/or mechanical fixing. An all-steel rectangular stringer system having prepunched holes at both ends to ensure correct alignment with pedestal heads should be applied for maximum stability. For Cavity floor : upto 1500 mm height above floor level.
Item No: 19.06 Providing and fixing metal powder coated grommet holes as per approved colour and sample of 75mm dia. The rate to be inclusive of providing of cut-outs in false floor to take data and power cables to server racks and finishing the same with wire brushes as per approved sample. The cut out size to be considered a 200mm x 300mm (approx).
Item No: 20.00 20. ANTI TERMITE PRECONSTRUCTION TREATMENT (Refer Section 20.0 of Technical Specifications)
Item No: 20.01 Providing, applying and spraying of antitermite chemicals over termite mounds, at column pits, walls, trenches and basement excavations, RCC framed structures and RCC walls, on top surface of plinth filling, junction of walls and floors, soil under apron and plinth protection, including providing approved chemicals, tools, plants, instruments, consumables and labour as per Section 20.0 of Technical Specifications. Item No: 12.10 Providing and fixing in position precast / cast-in-situ kerb stones in M-30 grade concrete including excavation, back filling, blinding / bedding concrete with M-15 grade concrete, Mortar with 1 cement : 3sand (1:3 mix),near road edges as per drawings.
Item No: 12.11 Painting lines, dashes, arrows, strips, etc. on roads in two coats on new work with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to I.S. 164 on bituminous surfaces including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter, demarcation at site and traffic control up to 10 cm wide as per MORTH-803. Providing necessary materials, labour, tools, tackles, plant, equipment shall be part of Contractor’s scope.
Item No: 12.12 Direction and Place Identification Signs upto 0.9 sqm Size Board: Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, MoRTH, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing.

Item No.-16 :Piling Works BORED CAST IN SITU CONCRETE PILES
Item No.-16.01: NOTE:Provide and supply materials for Piling like 53 grade Cement, reinforcement etc. all complete. Mobilisation of all necessary plants, equipments, properly calibrated instruments, Hydraulic piling rigs and hammers, trucks, cranes and other necessary modes of transport for material handling, supply of materials to be furnished by Contractor, posting qualified personnel, skilled and unskilled labour etc. to site of work, arranging kentledges and all other equipments, set ups required for conducting the various types of pile load tests, setting up properly equipped material/concrete testing laboratory, insurance, erecting and commissioning all plants and equipment essential for operating the contract. Rate shall also include various designs of concrete mixes, that may be required from time to time, mobilisation & demobilisation of all equipment required for timely completion of scope of work. (Bidder shall submit details of driving equipment and list of all equipment including pile hammers and rigs, cranes etc). Contractor shall also indicate the number of piling rigs cranes etc. (all in working condition) that he proposes to bring to site from time to time to execute and complete the work. The Contractor shall provide along with the bid, guarantee for pile load carrying capacities as mentioned in the tender. In case the Contractor differs on these capacities, the justification for same along with supporting calculations shall be provided for approval of Client / Consultant. Also piling method statement shall be submitted for approval of Client / Consultant, cost included in the piling item. Rate shall include use of casings wherever required for boring through loose / soft soils.
Item No.-16.02: Forming vertical piles by boring through all kinds of soils including hard murum with gravel and rock fragments including occasional boulders by appropriate method using Bentonite slurry technique/bailer boring as specified, for various lengths from tip to cut off elevation of piles, filling the bore with M-30 grade concrete, using ordinary portland cement, as shown and called for on the drawings or as instructed by the OWNER/ENGINEER, with a minimum cement content of 400 Kg/cu.m. of concrete and with water cement ratio including the water contained in the aggregates not exceeding 0.45, etc. all as specified, inclusive of concreting minimum 600mm above specified cut off elevation of piles, cutting off piles at the specified level cutting / chipping off piles to specified cut off level, exposing of the rebars etc, etc. complete in all respects. Initial lead for disposal of bored / excavated / chipped material shall be 1000 M (NOTE: Empty boring, if any and reinforcement shall be measured separately). THE ABOVE TO BE EXECUTED FOR 500 MM DIA. PILE. (for pile length of 0-10m from cut off elevation of piles to Pile Toe)

Item No.-16.16: Extending piles above cut off level, if required, including supplying and pouring M-30 concrete with a minimum cement content of 400 Kg/cu.m. of concrete and with water cement ratio (including water contained in the aggregates) not exceeding 0.45 including all shuttering, vibrating, curing, etc. complete but excluding reinforcement (Any building up of piles upto specified cutoff level if required to be done, due to any reason other than design change shall be at piling CONTRACTOR's cost) for 500 MM DIA. PILE.
Item No.-16.17: Extending piles above cut off level, if required, including supplying and pouring M-30 concrete with a minimum cement content of 400 Kg/cu.m. of concrete and with water cement ratio (including water contained in the aggregates) not exceeding 0.45 including all shuttering, vibrating, curing, etc. complete but excluding reinforcement (Any building up of piles upto specified cutoff level if required to be done, due to any reason other than design change shall be at piling CONTRACTOR's cost) for for 1000 mm dia. pile.
LOAD TESTING ON PILES : A. INITIAL LOAD TESTS
Item No.-16.18: Carrying out initial cyclic vertical load test on single vertical test pile as per IS-2911 with loading equal to two and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including necessary arrangements such as jacks, measuring devices, structural frame work for platform, kentledge, all complete as required. Providing and installing test piles shall be measured and paid separately for 500 mm dia. bored cast-in-situ piles.
Item No.-16.19: All activities and scope same as Item No. 16.18 but for 1000 mm dia. bored cast-in-situ piles.
Item No.-16.20: Carrying out initial cyclic lateral load test on single vertical pile as per IS 2911 with loading equal to two and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including all necessary arrangements such as jacks, measuring devices, structural framework for platform, kentledge, all complete as required. B. ROUTINE LOAD TESTS
Item No.-16.24: Carrying out routine cyclic vertical load test on single vertical working pile as per IS 2911 with loading equal to one and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including all necessary arrangements such as jacks, measuring devices, structural framework for platform, kentledge, all complete as required for 500 mm dia pile.
Item No.-16.25: All activities and scope same as 16.24 but for 1000 mm dia. pile.
Item No.-16.26: Carrying out routine cyclic lateral load test on vertical piles as per IS:2911 with loading equal to one and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including all activities as mentioned in 1.36. For this test, two working piles shall be used and jacked apart. Both piles shall be considered as test piles. The lateral deflection of both the piles shall be recorded. However, testing both these piles shall be considered as one test, for 500 mm dia. piles.
Item No.-16.27: All activities and scope same as Item No. 16.26 but for 1000 mm dia. pile.
Item No.-16.28: Carrying out routine pull out load test on vertical working piles as per IS:2911 (Type of loading shall be as per cyclic loading method) with loading equal to one and half times the proposed safe bearing loads including all activities as mentioned in 16.24 for 500 MM DIA. PILE.
Item No.-16.29: All activities and scope same as 16.28 but for 1000 mm dia. pile.
Item No.-16.30: Making preparation and carrying out Pile integrity test (NDT) using High sensitive accelerometer or equivalent through specialist approved agency, in consultation with Owner / Consultant and submitting the report including site mobilization, dewatering, chipping, building up of piles, clearing & preparing top surface of pile, etc., as required for testing and submitting the report to Owner / Consultant for approval for all lengths for 500 mm dia. Pile
Item No.-16.31: All activities and scope same as 16.30 but for 1000 mm dia. pile.
Item No.-16.32: Any chipping & crushing of pile required due to design change, including all tools, tackles, compressed air, labour, consumables and disposal of debris as directed within a lead of 1000 M from site.
Item No.-16.33: Drilling / boring minimum 100mm dia. exploratory bore hole upto 10m depth including all tools, tackles, lobour, consumables all complete, in case rock / boulder is encountered during piling activity.
Item No: 19.00 19. CAVITY FLOOR AND FALSE CEILING (Refer Section 19.0 of Technical Specifications)
Item No: 19.01 Providing and installing of removable type aluminium false ceiling system for horizontal inclined and vertical comprising of square edge plane panels, 84mm wide x 15 mm deep with 25mm recessed flanges, formed out of 0.5 mm thick aluminium alloy electrically powder coated in standard colour shades as approved by the engineer as approved by the in charge. The panels shall be fixed on formed carriers, 15 mm wide at top 43 mm deep made out of 0.19 mm thick aluminium alloy electrically powder coated in stain black with protruding ears to hold panels in module of 100 mm, with 16 mm gap between the panels, carrier spacing shall be maximum 1.3 M c/c.
Item No: 20.00 20. ANTI TERMITE PRECONSTRUCTION TREATMENT (Refer Section 20.0 of Technical Specifications)
Item No: 20.01 Providing, applying and spraying of antitermite chemicals over termite mounds, at column pits, walls, trenches and basement excavations, RCC framed structures and RCC walls, on top surface of plinth filling, junction of walls and floors, soil under apron and plinth protection, including providing approved chemicals, tools, plants, instruments, consumables and labour as per Section 20.0 of Technical Specifications. The quantity shall be measured in terms of plinth area of building at Ground Floor.
