Earthwork in excavation for foundation trenches of walls, retaining walls, footings of column, steps, septic tank etc. including refilling (return filling) the quantity as necessary after completion of work, breaking clods in return filling, dressing, watering and ramming etc. and removal of surplus earth with all lead and lifts as directed and specified in the following classification of soils including bailing out water where necessary as directed and specified. Up to a depth of 2.00m below the existing ground level. In ordinary soil

Surface dressing of ground including removing vegitation and/ or undulation of ground not exceeding 150mm deep and disposal of rubbish outside the periphery and lift up to 1800mm in all kinds of soil.

Earth/sand filling in plinth in layers not more than 150mm thick including necessary carriage, watering, ramming etc. complete as directed and specified including payment of land compensation, forest royalty, sales tax and other duties and taxes as may be necessary. With river sand or silt (predominantly non plastic) by truck carriage including loading and unloading.

Pre construction anti - termite treatment at the bottom of foundation pits and walls on either side up to a height of 300mm from bottom of the excavation made for column plinth beam, wall, trenches etc. by applying the emulsion @ 5 (five) litres per square meter of the surface area before starting construction work (supplying of necessary tools and accessories by the contractor) as per the direction of the Department complete. With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose solution (tricel or euivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

Pre construction anti - termite treatment by applying in the entire levelled area after plinth filling and before laying floor by applying the emulsion @ 5 (five) litres per square meter of the surface to be spread with light rodding so as to ensure proper absorption by the filled up earth (supplying of necessary tools and accessories by the contractor) as per the direction of the Department complete. With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose solution (tricel or euivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

Plain cement concrete works with coarse aggregate of sizes 13mm to 32mm in foundation bed for footing steps, walls, brick works etc. as directed and specified including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete (shuttering where necessary shall be measured and paid separately). In prop 1cement: 3sand :6coarse aggregate by volume

Providing and laying 25mm thick damp proof course with cement concrete in prop 1:1.5:3 with graded stone agg. of 10mm down nominal size including providing approved damp proof admixture in proportion as recommended by the manufacturer including curing etc. complete as directed.

Providing and laying plain/reinforced cement croncrete works cement, coarse sand & 20mm down graded stone aggregate including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete but excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete work (form work and reinforcement will be measured and paid separately). (A) In substructure up to plinth level. Foundation, footing, columns with base tie and plinth beam, pile cap, base slab, retaining walls, walls of septic tank, inspection pit and the like and other works not less than 100mm thick up to plinth level. M20 grade concrete or Prop. 1:1.5:3.

(A) By Mix in Place Method Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. WBM Grading II Using stone screening Type-B 11.2 mm for Gr.II Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fillup the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. (A) By Manual Means

WBM Grading III Using stone screening Type-B 11.2 mm for Gr.III Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. Providing two coats of J.K Wall Putty ( White Cement based putty for concrete/ mortar walls and ceiling both internal and external) after removing all loosely adhering material from the wall surface with the help of emery stone, putty blade or wire brush and moistening the wall with sufficient quantity of clean water as specified and directed by the department. (Total thickness of two coats is maximum 1.5mm)

Applying one coat of cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on new wall surface after throughly brooming the surfaces free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter and including preparing the surface even and sand papered smooth.

Finishing wall with water proofing cement paint of approved brand and manufacture and of required shade on new wall surface (two coats) to give an even shade after throughly brooming the surfaces to remove all dirt and remains of loose powdered materials.

Extra over item above for waterproofing cement paint of approved brand and manufacture on celing and sloping roof.

Applying primary coat over new steel and other metal surface upto 100m in width or girth after preparing the surface by throughly cleaning oil,grease, dirt and other foreign matter and scoured with wire brushes, fine steels, wood scrapers and sand paper. a). With ready mixed "red-lead/ red oxide" primer.

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat) on new steel and other metal surface with enamel paint of approved brand manufacture (Asian Paint/ Berger Paint/ ICI Paint/ J&N Paint/ Nerolac) to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter. Steel work welded in built up sections, framed work including cutting, hoisting and fixing in positions and applying priming coat of red-lead paint including drilling holes, supplying, fitting and fixing with bolts and nuts or welding, if necessary as directed.
