Carrying out maintenance of entire sewage system of CGS Tuticorin area by cleaning of sewer drains of dia not exc 200 mm including blocked manholes by rodding from manholes and well flushing after cleaning and removal of blocked /decomposed sludge /dirt and other materials to a place not exc 50 meter and burning the dirt / removal of sludge from defence land including removal/refixing of manhole cover without any damage ,cleaning/ removal of blockages of traps in kitchen ,bath and WC etc complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: (i) One No of safaiwala and one no of mazdoor shall be employed daily by the contractor for the purpose of cleaning the entire sewage system functional throughout the contract period . (ii)The tenderers are advised to visit the work site and assess the quantum of work to be executed before quoting the tender. (iii) A register shall be maintained to show the date and time of complaint and date and time of rectification duly signed by a rep of users of the unit concerned and countersigned by JE/AGE. Failure to rectify any blockage/complaint in 24 hours time will attract a penalty of Rs 500/- per complaint.
Cleaning of Septic tank including Filter bed of following capacites by bailing out fluid, decomposed materials ,sludge etc ,Scrapping and washing the wall with fresh water and disposal of decomposed materials ,sludge etc outside the MD land complete including cleaning away all grass,vegetation ,saplings,shrubs and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth upto a distance of 3.0 meter alround the septic tank and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 mtrs outside the periphery of area all as complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, etc., and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.
Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm using approved excavated soils complete all as specified and as directed.
