Construction of RCC trough from RD 1050M to RD 1635M to Bhalumunda Sub Minor off taking at RD 34730m of Left Main Canal of Lower Indra Irrigation Project

Earth work in excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil including stoney earth, gravel, moorum etc. inter-spread with boulders upto 1/2 cum in volume by mechanical means including loading, unloading and carriage with all lead, lifts & delifts and laying in canal banks,dumping yards or in spoil banks in 22.5cm layers including trimming the slopes and bed as per approved design as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Clearing of grass, shrubs and removal of all rubbish, debris up to a distance of 50 meters beyond the periphery of the work area, including collection, loading, transportation and safe disposal at approved locations, complete with all labour, tools, plants (T&P), equipment, incidental charges and leads & lifts, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling in foundation and plinth with approved good quality sand, including cost and conveyance of materials from approved sources, spreading in layers, watering, ramming/compaction to the required density, complete with all labour, tools & plants (T&P), lead, lift, taxes, royalty, EMF, DMF, Addl. Charges, Labour cess and all incidental charges, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete of M-15 grade using approved quality cement, clean coarse sand and crusher broken hard granite coarse aggregates of 40 mm down-graded size, free from weathered skin, dust and all foreign materials, machine-mixed in a concrete mixer and placed in position manually or mechanically, including all leads, lifts and delifts, properly compacted with mechanical vibrators to achieve the required density, finishing the surface true to line and level, including cost, conveyance and royalty of all materials, hire and running charges of concrete mixer and vibrator, labour charges, watering and curing for the specified period, tools and plants (T&P), taxes, EMF, DMF, additional charges, cess and all incidental expenses, complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, straightening, cutting, bending, binding and tying of reinforcement bars and placing the same in position for fabrication and fixing in Reinforced Cement Concrete works, including necessary lapping, hooks, cranks and anchorage wherever required, using approved quality TMT bars of specified diameter and grade as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including supply of binding wire, loading, unloading, conveyance with all leads and lifts from bending yard to site of placement, complete with all labour, tools and plants (T&P), incidental charges, wastage, taxes, labour cess and all other statutory charges, complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of M-20 grade using approved quality cement, clean coarse sand and crusher-broken hard granite coarse aggregates of 20 mm down-graded size, conforming to specifications and free from weathered skin, dust and all foreign materials, machine-mixed in a concrete mixer and placed in position manually or mechanically, including all leads, lifts and delifts, thoroughly compacted with mechanical vibrators to achieve the required strength and density, finished to proper line, level and camber, including cost, conveyance and royalty of all materials, labour charges, hire and running charges of concrete mixer and vibrator, watering and curing for the specified period, tools and plants (T&P), taxes, royalty, cess, EMF, DMF, additional charges and all incidental expenses, complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and fixing rigid and smooth centering and shuttering for Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) works, including necessary false work, staging, scaffolding, bracing and supports to maintain proper line, level and plumb, using approved quality materials such as steel plates / plywood / timber, ensuring leak-proof joints and smooth finished concrete surfaces, including cost of all materials, labour charges, tools and plants (T&P), all leads, lifts and delifts, oiling/greasing of shuttering surfaces, and dismantling and removal of formwork after completion of casting and curing without causing damage to the concrete, complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and placing 12 mm thick thermo-cool (expanded polystyrene) sheet at construction joints in concrete works, cut to required size and shape and fixed in proper position to form expansion/construction joints, including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, tools and plants (T&P), taxes, Labour Cess and all other incidental charges, complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling in foundation and plinth with approved quality of excavated soil by manually/ mechanical means and laying in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm in depth with ramming including mobilisation and demobilisation of men, materials and machinery etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in approved type of soil obtained from approved borrow areas, executed by mechanical means, including excavation/loading of earth, transportation by mechanical means and unloading within a lead of up to 3.00 km, depositing the soil on properly prepared and scientifically approved surfaces, spreading and leveling in uniform layers of 22.5 cm thickness in heavy banking sections of canal for all heights, excluding watering and compaction, including construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul roads and borrow areas, complete with all labour, machinery, tools and plants (T&P), fuel, incidental charges, taxes, royalty, labour cess and all other statutory charges, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
