Excavating in trenches, not exc. 1.5 m wide and upto 1.5 m depth and exc 1.5 m but not exc 3.0 m for laying of cables, poles , pipes etc. and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Entire excavation shall be carried out manually only. No machinery such as JCB / excavator shall be used for excavation to avoid damage of existing electric supply / water supply / signal assets. This aspect shall be noted while quoting the Bid.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil not exceed to a distance of 50M where directed at a level not exc . 1.5M above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying , jointing and testing underground LT cable XLPE insulated heavy duty, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, PVC sheathed multistranded,1100 Volts grade, of cross sectional area 16 sqmm 4 core with aluminium conductor as per IS 7098 (Part-I) along with suitable size with aluminium cable lugs (bottle neck /eye let/ ring type as per ground requirement) and cable gland joint etc. laid in trenches, along poles passing through pipes, laid under floor, fixed on walls/roofs and passing under road etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earth works, sand cushioning,bricks,GI pipes etc will be measured and paid under respective items.

M & L for brick well burnt locally available sub class 'B' laid over sand cushioning to cable in trenches keeping width of brick parallel to the length of cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Sand Cushioning (dry) in trenches/ducts for protection of UG Cables (below, above and around the UG Cable laid in Trenches) of 23 Cm Spread thickness (8 Cm in depth before laying the Cable and 15 Cm in depth after laying the Cable) and consolidated (punned) upto 18 cm thickness, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : For the purpose of Payment, Punned thickness of Sand Cushioning only shall be measured and paid .

S&F steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, screws as specified type 410-SP-31 (9.0 metres long) and shifting of conductors and insulators etc including painting the exposed portion of the pole with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and interally through out plus embedded portion with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer including marking of pole number with black paint in yellow circle complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Necessary earth work, PCC coping will be measured and paid for separately under respective items.)
