Painting of the complete combat equipment’s and its associated equipment’s at the site , involving the following salient feature works: (a) Complete scraping and cleaning of the existing parts of the equipment’s with wire brush remover and cleaning dents. (b) Covering with masking tape and paper O glass/mirror electrical connector /surface. (c) Apply metallic putty at Blister area carry out wet rubbing to get smooth surface. (d) Apply GLO-POTEX red oxide on full body of equipment’s. (e) Apply GLO-PROTEX anti corrosive coating as per camouflage pattern and base with black coating. (f) Apply GLO-PROTEX anti corrosive coating on antenna as per existing camouflage pattern.
The paint thinner, primer and the paint remover shall conform to the specification stated below:- (a) Paint : IS- 168: 1993 Superset Autofinish (Mat) (b) Paint remover : IS- 431: 1972 (c) Etches : IS- 5666 (d) Epoxy Zinc Phosphate Primer : IS- 13238 (e) Dishes energy reflector PU paint : IS- 13213 (f) PU Primer : IS - 5660 : 1970 (g) Epoxy thinner : IS-1873: 1961 (h) Shade (i) Tata Green 2.007 (ii) JD Green 2.088 (iii) Olive Green 2.012
The agent shall be responsible to properly mask the junction boxes, switches and glass/ mirror and feed horns where the paint application is forbidden.
a) To carry out the complete work. The bidder is to be self equipped with all necessary work equipments and labour as applicable. (b) Physical assessment of all equipments onsite will be permitted on all working days between 0700 hrs to 1300 hrs excluding Sundays & all Government holidays upto 18 Jul 20.
